The Bath 911 staff consists of three firefighters and a police officer. Due to its size, the company does not have to pay workers’ compensation for its employees since they are already covered as public servants. To Weidel and his staff, being a small company is not a disadvantage. “We have the same products and the same warranties as bigger companies,” says Wiedel. “We have a lifetime warranty on materials and labor, and we generally beat the prices of those bigger companies.” Also, as an added service to its customers, Bath 911 offers free in-home estimates. “It’s best for us to come over and visit with you,” says Wiedel. “That way we can give you a binding bid.
