Jenny Guthrie, APRN CNP, offers her clients a unique boutique experience with niche market skin care and medical cosmetic procedures.

Jenny Guthrie, owner of Glow Medical Aesthetics, is an advanced practitioner registered nurse with a specialty in medical grade skin care, Botox cosmetics, and cosmetic fillers. Jenny has been a nurse for 17 years, a nurse practitioner for 12 years, and owner of Glow Medical Aesthetics for five years. She aids clients with skin care and anti-aging techniques in her office’s boutique setting with a medical focus.

When you schedule an appointment with Jenny, she will do an assessment, review your medical history and develop an individualized treatment plan utilizing a blend of science and art based on your goals and budget. “I don’t do ‘fluff,’” says Jenny. “I understand the scientific principles of the products and techniques I employ and know why each works. My ultimate goal is to create a facial balance, making each client happy with the results.” Jenny says she has fostered loyalty and trust with her loyal fan base by restoring them with more youthful appearances.

“I work hard to promote a natural appearance, which most of my clients want,” says Jenny. “Skin treatments, chemical peels and antioxidants are some of the tools I use to attain this goal.” All of these are non-surgical procedures and none are permanent. “They provide me the ability to accomplish our combined objectives by blending art and science. I feel I am able to provide clients a truly different level of care.”

Glow Medical recently added MicroDot, automated Micro Needling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy or CIT). The process is a new innovation in aesthetic medicine for the treatment of fine lines, acne scars and improvement of the skin’s texture, tone and color. During the procedure, tiny needles are used to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to produce collagen and elastin. The skin’s repair process results in a thicker dermis with softer wrinkles. MicroDot also creates micro-channels which allow topical gels, creams and serums to be absorbed more effectively, enhancing their effects in deeper layers of the skin.

There are many benefits to the MicroDot technique including wrinkle reduction, texture, tone improvement and softer, younger-looking skin with fewer signs of aging. MicroDot is a surface treatment with the benefits of laser, but without the downtime. “Science continues to refine this very precise treatment and I am seeing amazing results with it,” says Jenny.

Glow Medical Aesthetics treats women and men. The advanced technique of under-the-skin cosmetic fillers decreases wear and tear on the skin while it softens age lines.  While Botox does not treat volume loss, cosmetic fillers do, while providing a more youthful appearance.
