A beautiful fall harvest moon signals a new season. Our senses fill with sentiments of a bright night sky and gentle cool breezes. As the moon rises shortly after sunset, it sets the stage as the romantic backdrop for Tulsa’s Woodward Park’s annual fundraiser Wine & Roses.
This lavish garden party is set to return to Woodward Park on Friday, September 29th from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Don your favorite garden attire. This evening is designed with tastings of fine foods and drinks from some of our area’s beloved purveyors.
“Guests will discover fresh cuisine from the finest restaurants, experience exquisite wines, enjoy imaginative cocktails, and soak up the sounds of the acclaimed saxophonist Grady Nichols and his full band all while being illuminated by the full Harvest Moon in the Tulsa Arboretum. All proceeds from this cherished fundraiser go towards Woodward Park educational programming and beautification, including restoration of the Tulsa Arboretum,” said Briana Hefley-Shepard, Tulsa Garden Center Communications Manager.
Your ticket includes all you can eat and drink throughout the evening. “This is a unique opportunity to mingle and unwind in idyllic open-air lounges and experience a romantic and fun-filled evening expressed in natural elegance within Tulsa’s most iconic gardens,” she added.
Tulsa Garden Center and loving contributors pour both dollars and soul into the ongoing maintenance and restoration of Woodward Park, education, and additions to the Rose Garden.
