Concrete Solutions director Kalan Paul and owner Josh Keltner (not pictured) have perfected a method of providing a decorative driveway at an affordable cost in as little as two days.
Many a driveway is showing the effects of our historically harsh winter. A house may otherwise look great, but an unsightly drive will take away from it. Replacing the drive may seem like the answer. Now, there is another option.
Concrete Solutions has perfected a process that transforms an average size two-car driveway into a showpiece, in just two days. Their system is called New-in-2. Not only does it make a driveway look new and attractive, it does so at a fraction of replacement cost.
The systems begins with cleaning the driveway and applying adhesive overlay that covers oil stains, streaks, pits, weathering and chemical effects of ice melting products. On day two, a team of concrete professionals finish the job with an attractive scored pattern.
The result is a decorative driveway that looks new and expensive, but is actually very affordable. “Homeowners are really surprised to find how much we can do for so little money,” says Kalan. “They can’t believe they are getting a driveway like they have seen at million dollar homes for far less than the cost of replacement.”
Not long ago, that driveway would have been cost prohibitive to most homeowners. But Kalan and Concrete Solutions owner Josh Keltner perfected a method to enhance curb appeal and add value to many more homes.
Eight years ago, Josh began searching for a contractor to do a decorative driveway for the new home he was building. He was not happy with the quality of work he found, so Josh decided to learn to do concrete work himself. It was a lot different from his job in the banking industry, which he soon left behind to form Concrete Solutions.
One happy customer after another passed along the word. About a year and a half ago, Josh combined efforts with Kalan, who had been building custom luxury homes. Both men had a good grasp of how concrete work should be done, and they set a goal to provide quality service at an affordable price, improving as many homes as possible.
“We ask homeowners to give us a call before moving forward with driveway replacement plans,” says Kalan. One recent customer is glad she did. She made the call to Concrete Solutions just to get a second opinion on her driveway. Rather than drab gray concrete, she wound up with a like-new decorative drive for half the replacement cost.
“I like to tell people, ‘We turn gray into gold,’” Kalan adds jokingly. “The first step is to call us.” Each and every project is handled with attention to detail so that every driveway they do becomes a billboard for their business. Many photos of finished projects are available in the portfolio that Kalan brings with him while providing a free estimate.
An updated driveway is the perfect finishing touch to a remodel project. And Concrete Solutions’ New-in-2 can save homeowners money that they can use for other upgrades. Call (918) 960-1440 any time to ask questions or schedule an appointment.
