The “American Celebrates America” fireworks show is spectacular, and the crowd usually reaches around 15,000.
Every town has its annual Fourth of July event. Sapulpa, Oklahoma’s celebration of our nation’s birth is appropriately hosted each year by American Heritage Bank. The 16th annual “American Celebrates America” takes place Wednesday, July 4, 2012. The fireworks show starts at approximately 9:45 p.m.
“We invite everyone to bring their lawn chairs, picnic baskets, footballs and Frisbees for an old-fashioned fireworks display. This is a fun event for the entire family,” says Sarah McCormick, vice president and marketing director of American Heritage Bank. The show is launched from the Sapulpa Municipal Golf Course. Viewing and parking are available in the Sapulpa Wal-Mart parking lot and the grassy fields east of and behind Wal-Mart.
Awe-inspiring fireworks will be provided by locally owned Celebration Pyrotechnics and choreographed to music provided by Four Winds. The music can be heard on 88.5 FM within a two-mile radius, so be sure to bring your radios! “It is a spectacular show. People look forward to seeing it every year,” says Sarah. “The crowd usually reaches around 15,000.”
“American Heritage Bank sponsors this show in order to say ‘thank you’ to our community for all their support, business and patronage,” says Sarah. “Bring the whole family out and join the fun!”
