Azalea Festival
April 1-30, 2025
Held since 1968, Muskogee's Honor Heights Park boasts 40 acres of manicured gardens with over 30,000 azaleas in 625 varieties. Visit this stunning park throughout the month of April for one of the top events in Oklahoma. The annual festival celebrates the blooming of azaleas, tulips, dogwoods, and wisteria as these buds begin to unfurl during the warmer temperatures of spring to the delight of visitors. The Azalea Festival not only highlights the beauty of nature in spring, but also plays host to a parade and numerous other events. The annual Azalea Festival parade features everything from floats, antique cars, clowns, and pageant queens, to horseback riders and cyclists. This much-loved festival has expanded to include the Chili & BBQ Cook-Off, The Garden Market at the Paplion at Honor Heights Park, the Azalea 5K & Fun Run, Flower Power Bicycle Ride and Fitness in the Park. Celebrate the kaleidoscope of color that blooms each spring. Enjoy free tours of Honor Heights Park and don't forget your camera - you'll want to capture every bloom and every memory at the Azalea Festival.

Food Truck Wednesdays

First Friday Art Crawl

Since 2007, the Tulsa Arts District has presented the community with rotating art displays as part of the monthly First Friday Art Crawl events. Every first Friday of the month, visitors can explore artwork inside galleries, studios and museums and catch a few live music performances or even an exciting fireworks display. As an added bonus, art crawlers can take advantage of free museum and gallery admission while shopping later than normal business hours would allow. Hit the district early for dinner, or stay a little later for a craft cocktail best enjoyed on an outdoor patio.

Blippi: Join The Band Tour!

Wanenmacher's Tulsa Arms Show
April 5-6, 2025
The Wanenmacher's Tulsa Arms Show is one of the largest firearms shows in the world. This show features more than 4,200 exhibits including fine antique and modern firearms, knives, swords, and accessories on display and for sale. General interest exhibits will include Western and wildlife art, bronze work, and jewelry. This Tulsa Expo Square show is international in scope, both in terms of exhibitors and spectators. Several collectors organizations will be present with outstanding exhibits and items to sell during this year's show in April. Hours: Saturday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm; Sunday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Oklahoma Quarter Horse Association Spring Show
April 5-9, 2025
The Oklahoma Quarter Horse Spring Show puts top equestrian skills on display for five days at Tulsa Expo Square. See cowboys and cowgirls of all ages show off their abilities in Western pleasure, Western riding, barrel racing, pole bending, tie down and roping, as well as other competitive categories like halter, reining and jumping. All performances are judged, so be sure to hang around afterward to see who will be named the champion of each specialty. Art Crawl on 66
April 11, 2025 | 6 - 9 p.m.
Experience art up close during the Art Crawl on 66 in Tulsa as artists bring imagination to life at local businesses. On the second Friday of the month from April to December, musicians, performers, and visual artists will inspire patrons as they browse businesses and vendor booths. Kick the weekend off with a tour of historic places along The Mother Road, enjoying local restaurants and taking in the sights and sounds of Tulsa's art scene.

Green Country Hamfest
April 11-12, 2025
The Green Country Hamfest in Claremore will showcase the latest technology in radio operations. The largest ham radio festival in Oklahoma, this trade show offers visitors on-site FCC amateur radio license exams, as well as a chance to win terrific prizes. At the Green Country Hamfest, browse through commercial booths filled with the latest radios and accessories, enjoy a swap meet and flea market for ham radio equipment or attend a variety of forums and learn something new. Springfest

SpringFest at Woodward Park is a celebration of all things gardening. Gem Faire

Easter Egg Hunt

Bring the kids to the Will Rogers Memorial Museum in Claremore for a fun Easter egg hunt to celebrate the holiday. Herbal Affair & Festival

The annual Herbal Affair & Festival in Sand Springs features over 100 vendors selling medicinal, cooking, and ornamental herbs. Perennial, heirloom, and annual plants will be sold, along with garden and herb-related products and supplies. A variety of food trucks, including Amish, Greek, Italian, Cajun, Indian and, of course, American cuisine will be available to hungry and thirsty visitors. There will also be a wine garden featuring several Oklahoma wineries.
