In its fifth year, the fundraiser for Make A Wish Foundation will be on Aug. 21, in Collinsville, at Airman Acres, 12600 N. 73rd E. Ave., from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Guests can enjoy fly-ins, a car show, food vendors, a kid zone, ice cream, sno-cones, a live DJ, raffle, silent auction and more, all free to the public!

The 41st annual Bluegrass & Chili Festival is set for Sept. 10 and 11 in historic downtown Wagoner. The weekend festivities will include multiple stages of FREE “pepper hot” concerts by national and regional artists. For over 40 years, the Eastern Oklahoma Woodcarvers Association has worked to keep a part of our cultural history alive with their annual Woodcarving and Arts Festival. In 2021, the event will take place September 10-11, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Central Park Community Center at 1500 S. Main in Broken Arrow. Invited arts include woodcarving and wood turning, gourds, mosaics, jewelry, blacksmithing, quilting, ceramics, beading, leather working, basketmaking, painting and much more! Approximately 70 vendors are expected to be in attendance. Admission is free.
