Taste of Summer Ice Cream Festival

Art Crawl on 66

Experience art up close during the Art Crawl on 66 in Tulsa as artists bring imagination to life at local businesses. On the second Friday of the month from April to December, musicians, performers and visual artists will inspire patrons as they browse businesses and vendor booths. Kick the weekend off with a tour of historic places along The Mother Road, enjoying local restaurants and taking in the sights and sounds of Tulsa’s art scene.

Your all-access Wild Brew ticket benefits the George Miksch Sutton Avian Research Center, best known for its work with Bald Eagles. A decade ago, the species was on the endangered list; now, Bald Eagles are a regular part of our Oklahoma skyline. Following the success with eagles, scientists at Sutton are now working to save two of North America’s most endangered birds from disappearing from our planet.
Salsa Festival

Prepare your tastebuds and join the Oklahoma Aquarium for its hottest event of the summer – Salsa Festival. Sample a variety of fresh salsas, from spicy to sweet, and enjoy activities for the entire family. After checking out the diverse marine life at the aquarium and sampling salsas, vote on your favorite salsa in three categories: Mild, Hot and Anything Goes. Salsa Festival will also feature a jalapeño-eating contest, a salsa and queso tasting and more. Salsa contest winners will receive awards, behind-the-scenes tours of the aquarium, and of course, bragging rights.
