Broken Arrow's biannual Trash Bash & Recycling Rally is scheduled for Saturday, April 20, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. This public event aims to beautify the city and reduce litter and trash dumping around Broken Arrow.
Individuals, neighborhood associations, and volunteer groups are all invited to participate in the Trash Bash litter collection event, which will take place along roads, waterways, and other public spaces throughout the city. The City of Broken Arrow will coordinate with groups to collect the bagged litter.
The free Recycling Rally will be held at Events Park at 21101 E. 101st St. from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. During this drive-through and drop-off event, individuals can dispose of hard-to-recycle items such as:
Document shredding will also be available, and electronics will be accepted free of charge except for a small fee for televisions and video monitors ($26 for TVs and $10 for CRT monitors).
