Black Hat Launches Roofing Division

Black Hat Cleaning Services has been respected throughout metro Tulsa since 1977 and recently added roofing services.

Black Hat was founded in 1977 when David E. Harris began passing out informational flyers about the establishment of their new ­chimney cleaning business. In doing so they became one of the few chimney sweeps in our state. Over the next 36 years, the Harris family would build a successful and respected business serving Tulsa and northeastern Oklahoma. In 1983, the business expanded to include air conditioning and heating air ducts and dryer ducts. Today Black Hat serves Tulsa and surrounding cities with chimney cleaning and repair, air duct cleaning, and dryer vent cleaning and repair.  

     “It just seemed a natural progression to us,” said Michael Boles, the son-in-law of David. “We’ve spent a lot of time on roofs over the past 36 years, and with my 25 years of experience in the roofing industry we ­decided to expand services with the addition of Black Hat Roofing Division.”

    Michael has done his share of roof applications as well as serving in management and sales areas. He says Black Hat plans an aggressive approach in promoting the new Roofing Division. They offer free roof inspections of residential and commercial properties and provide insurance claim assistance to home or business owners who they believe could qualify for roof repairs or replacement due to damages.
