From Grammy winners to renowned Broadway shows to everything in between, the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center Foundation continues to bring the world to Broken Arrow with its 2014-2015 Spotlight Series, an eight show season where anything goes.

Running August to April, the series welcomes Kristin Chenoweth on Aug. 22 and 23; The Time Jumpers with Oklahoma native Vince Gill on Sept. 7; “Smokey Joe’s Café” on Oct. 12; Lee Ann Womack on Dec. 5; Debby Boone on Dec. 19; “Anything Goes” on Jan. 25; the Oklahoma premier of “Peter and the Starcatcher” on Feb. 24; and The Midtown Men on Apr. 17.

“Every year we strive to bring an eclectic mix of Broadway and concert artists to our stage, hoping to offer a little something for everyone,” said Executive Director Mark Frie. “From a two-night concert event with Kristin to our first ever Spotlight Series play, I know the community will see this season as a hallmark of pure talent and excitement.”

Since 2009, the Broken Arrow PAC has been the cornerstone of the Rose District in downtown Broken Arrow and continually encourages the community to embrace a variety of performing arts. It also serves as the official location for the Broken Arrow Public Schools fine arts programs.

“It’s been the most rewarding years of my life,” Frie said. “Not only are we bringing the world to Broken Arrow with talented touring companies and award-winning artists for patrons, but we are also providing educational outreach programs for Broken Arrow students. With cast talkbacks after Broadway shows and master classes with stars like Kristin Chenoweth, students are able to connect with the real world of performing. As season six quickly approaches, we can’t wait to see what’s in store for patrons and students alike.”

Season tickets for this year’s Spotlight Series went on sale in June at the BAPAC Box Office located at 701 South Main in downtown Broken Arrow or by phone at 918-259-5778, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Single tickets for Chenoweth and The Time Jumpers are available July 11. Patrons can also visit brokenarrowpac.com or the BAPAC Facebook page at facebook.com/brokenarrowpac for show updates and more.
