Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce Recognizes Elected Officials during Legislative Reception

“Last night’s reception was a wonderful evening of live music, food, and fellowship. We were able to personally say thank you to all elected officials in attendance and show them how appreciative we are for all they do for our community. Without dedicated local elected officials advocating for us we would not be able to make the generous strides in our community and continue its amazing growth.” says Jennifer Conway, President and CEO of the Broken Arrow Chamber and EDC. “We also presented Senator John Haste with Elected Official of the Year. Senator Haste is dedicated to advocating for Oklahoma and our community to ensure opportunities are abundant for generations to come. There is rarely a ribbon cutting or event that this Senator does not attend.  He understands the importance of the business community and makes it a top priority to engage with the Chamber membership.  He can be found staying well after the ribbon cutting to speak with our members to listen about their challenges and their victories.  He also tours many businesses, large and small in the summer to ensure he has the pulse of the business community.  It is in these conversations that has inspired much of the key legislative work he focuses on for Broken Arrow.” Continued Conway.
