See trained dogs compete in a series of agility tests during the Tulsa Dog Training Club Agility Trial. Claremore Christmas Parade

Join in the holiday cheer at the Christmas Parade in Claremore. This year's "Fairy-Tale Christmas" parade begins on Will Rogers Boulevard at the Baptist Church and snakes down to the Claremore Expo Center with plenty of decorated and lighted floats. Bundle up, bring a thermos full of hot chocolate and gather the whole family to see these festive floats. Keep an eye out for the big, jolly elf and you might even catch a glimpse of Santa Claus himself. The Christmas Parade features over 200 entries, and visitors to the parade also have a great view of downtown Claremore's Christmas lights.

A Kristin Chenowith Christmas

Emmy® and Tony® Award winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth’s career spans film, television, voice-over, and stage. In 2015, Chenoweth received a coveted star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2009, she received an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in “Pushing Daisies.” In 1999, she won a Tony Award for “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown” and she was nominated for her original role of Glinda the Good Witch in “Wicked” in 2004. Chenoweth released her latest holiday album “HAPPINESS is…Christmas!” in 2021. Filled with holiday classics both old and new, the set highlights her favorite time of year. This holiday concert will feature special guests from the Broken Arrow High School choir and Stars On Stage, a program using theatre as a way to collaborate in mixed-ability groups, acting as a bridge between children with special needs and others in their peer group to put on a fully staged theatre production with no restrictions.

In 2024 the Claremore Elks Lodge will once again host this year’s Wreaths Across America community service project. We will have joint forces with the American Legion, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Blue Star Mothers Chpt 20. You and your four-legged family members are invited for a tail-wagging good time sniffing all the smells in Philbrook Gardens. Please BYOB (bring your own bowl!) to fill at water fountains and enjoy a stroll and outdoor seating with your leashed canine friend. Dog Days will take place every third Sunday, from 9am to 5pm. As you ride a turn-of-the-century trolley, you’ll be treated to festive music, dancers, and surprise guests that will make this journey even more magical. You’ll be invited to step back in time and experience Bethlehem firsthand. Step off the trolley and visit the stable, where you’ll encounter Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus surrounded by all the stable animals.

The Christmas Express departs from the Hub (12 W. Dawes) every 45 minutes, taking you on a journey that will end at the Bixby Historical Society. Once there, you’ll have the chance to meet and take photos with Santa himself, warm up with a cup of complimentary hot chocolate, and stroll through the enchanting Festival of the Trees!
