Tulsa Oktoberfest

Voted "Best Festival" by the Urban Tulsa Weekly, the Tulsa Oktoberfest offers fun for all ages. Visitors to this fall celebration will enjoy delicious food, refreshing beverages, high-flying carnival rides, live music straight from Germany and much more. Savor authentic German beer imported from Munich, or enjoy a glass of wine. You won't want to miss the gleeful polka dancing sessions and live Bavarian-style entertainment. Browse through rows of booths filled with art and crafts, along with authentic markets where visitors can find all kinds of German items such as stained glass, steins, Pilsner glasses, beads, and novelties. A trip to Tulsa's Oktoberfest would not be complete without witnessing a variety of fun and hilarious events like beer keg races, beer pong competitions and wiener dog races. German music groups will showcase their talents for crowds, while rock-'n-roll cover bands, dance troupes and country artists perform in various tents throughout festival grounds. Learn to polka or do the chicken dance, which was introduced in the United States in 1981 at Linde Oktoberfest. Don't forget to bring the kids to the children's tent, where they can enjoy musicians, storytellers, and artists. Food offerings at Tulsa Oktoberfest do not disappoint. Enjoy an astonishing variety of German, Czech and Austrian delicacies, and fair food favorites. Mouthwatering options include schnitzel sandwiches, Bavarian cheesecake, German potato salad, bratwurst with sauerkraut, knackwurst and polish sausages, potato pancakes, Stollen, hot pretzels and fresh apple strudel. Grab a bratwurst, a beer and celebrate this wunderbar (wonderful) Tulsa festival.

Trick-Or-Tour at the Church Studio

This Halloween, take in one of Oklahoma's most culturally significant landmarks with a spooky twist during Trick-or-Tour at The Church Studio. The Church Studio was built as a church in 1915 before Leon Russell added a state-of-the-art recording studio that would be used by legends such as Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty and more. In addition to the studio, this rock 'n roll landmark is full of artifacts and memorabilia from musicians' past. During the Trick-or-Tour event, guests who come to the studio dressed in costume will be given a free tour through this one-of-a-kind facility. Tours will be led by the knowledgeable staff who will also be in costume. Celebrate the spooky season with a trip through Tulsa's musical history during the Trick-or-Tour at The Church Studio.
