Owasso Auto Care Owner Tim Miller checks on progress of a job with Auto Specialist David Figart. The shop provides services for virtually all vehicles including older cars and hot rods.
Tim Miller has owned Owasso Auto Care for five years. “I attribute our current success because of my 25 years of experience as a construction business owner,” said Tim. “I’ve found that people want three things in a business…security, honesty and trustworthiness. Combine these with kindness and you’ve got a winning combination for success.
Customers generally go to Owasso Auto Care because they’ve got a problem with their vehicle or need a service performed. “We don’t generally see customers during their best moments,” said Tim. “We do our best to show them empathy as we genuinely listen to the descriptions of what’s going on with their vehicles. Although our city has grown to nearly 30,000, we still have a small town mentality and residents continue treating each other they did when our town was much smaller.” Tim and his employees love Owasso and wholeheartedly support their community.
Tim believes a business owner must learn to be a servant leader to be successful and keep the shop happy. “I do my best to always be positive,” he says. “Doing so keeps my employees happy and positive and it logically trickles on to our customers. We’ve been successful in developing an overall positive atmosphere at Owasso Auto Care by treating our customers with honor and respect, and the rewards have come back to us.”
The majority of Tim’s customers are women. They come to the shop knowing they will be listened to as they describe their car’s issues. Tim makes recommendations on how to remedy the problem and the ladies know that repairs will be made at a fair and reasonable price.
“It’s amazing how people appreciate a simple ‘hello’ and ‘thank you’ and we consider both ‘Politeness 101’ at Owasso Auto Care,” said Tim.
The Center’s lead Auto Technicians are experienced brothers David and Mike Figart who have nearly 30 years combined experience. They annually attend Certification Classes offered by vendors and manufacturers keeping them at the top of their game.
Next time your car or truck needs manufacturer recommended service, an oil change or is performing poorly, take it to Owasso Auto Care and let the guys take a look at it. Tim concludes, “Good relationships, great service and fair prices. That’s what we deliver time after time!” Store hours are 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday.
Tim Miller attributes his company’s success to providing customers security, honesty and trustworthiness.
