An Outreach Day has been organized for members of the Catoosa community who are experiencing homelessness, and low income, or are at risk of becoming homeless.
The event will be held Tuesday, August 14 from 10 am - 2 pm, at Catoosa First Church at 300 S. Cherokee St. and you are invited to a FREE event where local organizatons are coming together to support our neighbors with essential needs and commnunity-based resources. Available resources include food & drink, showers, haircuts, clothing closet, and community resoures.
The goal of the outreach is to remind those experiencing homelessness that they are not alone; support and resources are available to help navigate any challenge.
This free event is brought to the community by CREOKS, Catoosa First, Mobile Missions Network, and Good News Streets.
Additionally, CREOKS has a food & resource pantry available in Catoosa. The pantry is very active in the fight against food insecurity and they are always accepting donations of non-perishable foods & personal care items for the storeroom. Specific items in need are:
All items must be new & unopened and perishable or fresh items are not accepted.
