Helen Stratton presents a Mark Roberts Santa to Andrea Willis, Safenet Services board member. The item will be auctioned off at the Festival of Trees event.
Christmas has returned to J & J Pharmacy and Gifts — and so have Mark Roberts Collectibles. “When we started carrying these collectibles, we found people were more familiar with them than we thought,” says Patsy Daniel, owner of J & J Pharmacy and Gifts. “Local collectors were so glad we had these, because they had been driving all the way to Tulsa to find them.” Those collectors will be especially happy this year because J & J is extending a special offer on Mark Roberts Collectibles you simply can’t miss out on.
This is J & J’s second year to carry the Mark Roberts line of collectible Christmas elves and fairies, but Mark Roberts has actually been creating them for 25 years, basing his art on stories his mother told him as a young boy. Many of the pieces at J & J are limited edition, and all come with certificate of authenticity and can be registered by the owner.
Also gracing the shelves are Christopher Radko’s Old World Christmas Ornaments. These European mouth-blown glass ornaments are exquisitely detailed and are sure to add classic beauty to any holiday ensemble. Patsy reports that J & J is the only store in the Claremore area currently carrying this protected line of ornaments and décor.
In addition to decorative items, there are dozens of gift ideas to be found at J & J for that special person on your list. “I often have people suggest unique products to me,” says Patsy. “When they do, I get online and do my research.” An example of such a product is the Imazine Multi-Function Ion Sports Watches with Popocho enhancements. These simply slip over the wrist, come in nine different color schemes, and are geared to any age group. “I gave one to my grandson for his birthday,” Patsy says. “These are a really hot item right now.”
If you would like to present someone with a gift of lasting quality and value, you might want to check out Tervis Tumblers, another recent find by Patsy. “We started carrying these tumblers last summer,” Patsy says, pointing out that the tumblers are made from the same materials as airplane windshields and are crafted in the United States. “They are guaranteed for life, they keep things both hot and cold, and they don’t sweat—so no coasters needed!” The tumblers can also be personalized with collegiate emblems or initials, making them wonderful personalized gifts.
In fact, J & J Pharmacy is filled with gifts that can be geared specifically to those who will be unwrapping your gifts this season. Patsy points to a shelf of frames and signs by Danielson Designs. “Customers can come in and see examples and look at our brochures,” she says. “And we can help them design their own, with children’s names, special sayings, or anything else they would like.”
And as always, the store is the perfect place to find quality, brand name gifts for just about anyone: Tyler Candles; Pure Sanctuary Jewelry; Vera Bradley soft sided accessories, purses and luggage; Willow Tree Figurines; Wind and Willow gourmet foods; Aspen Spices; Robert Rothschild jams, preserves and dips; Lollia lotions, perfumes and bubble baths; Archipelago skin products —more than can even be mentioned. To experience the full variety of choices, visit J & J Pharmacy and Gifts in the Ne-Mar Shopping Center and add a Patsy Daniel “find” to your Christmas list.
