The City of Broken Arrow is seeking feedback from citizens about the next potential expansion of Broken Arrow Transit. A short, two-question survey is now available for citizens to share their input and help shape the future of local transit in our community.
“Since launching Broken Arrow Transit last year in March, we’ve seen ridership grow by over 275 percent compared to the old 508 fixed bus route,” said Mayor Debra Wimpee. “That reflects how important reliable public transportation is to our community. We want to continue improving this service, and hearing directly from our citizens helps us make the best decisions for the future.
The survey is quick and easy, allowing citizens to select one of three service areas identified for possible expansion, and their preference for potential weekend service hours.
Citizens can participate in the survey by clicking here. The survey will remain open until February 14. For more information on Broken Arrow Transit, visit www.brokenarrowok.gov/batransit.
Broken Arrow Transit is a convenient and affordable public rideshare micro-transit system operated by MetroLink, formerly known as Tulsa Transit. It is available within a 24-square mile service area in Broken Arrow and works like private rideshare programs in which you book a ride to pick you up and drop you off at your destination in BA.
