If you’re looking into new construction, remodeling, or an addition for either a residential or commercial property, you should know that Doug Cole Quality Construction does jobs of all kinds and of all sizes.
“Many contractors do only specific parts of jobs; we do turn-key jobs – the whole project, from start to finish,” says owner Doug Cole. “We do remodeling, additions, windows, siding, bathrooms, kitchens, doors, small repairs, large repairs, vanities, brick work, flooring, carpentry, trim work, gutters, and painting. We build new homes, garages, pergolas, patios, decks, and chimneys – pretty much anything you can think of on a house.”
Doug Cole Quality Construction has experience with commercial as well as residential work. “On the commercial side, we’ve remodeled churches and built new churches,” Cole says. “We can do just about any project on a commercial building.”
No job is too big or too small, Cole says. “We’ve done everything from replacing a doorknob to adding 25,000 square feet to a church. We provide free estimates, and we’re open and up-front about whether we can do the job.”
Doug Cole has been in construction for 22 years, and has had his own business for about 13. “I enjoy construction,” he says. “And I’m creative. A lot of customers really don’t know what they want ahead of time, or aren’t exactly sure. I’m happy to come out, sit down with them, and draw the job up to give them the best fit for what they need, be it types of wood, stain charts, or color charts.” Cole is involved in all the work on each project himself, with the exception of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work, for which he uses reliable licensed and insured subcontractors, he says.
Doug Cole Quality Construction also works with its customers on costs. “Our prices are reasonable, and we work to keep costs down,” says Cole. “Some contractors buy materials themselves and then mark them up for their customers; we’ll work with our customers who want to buy their own materials and just have us do the labor. We’re happy to break down our estimates however the customer wants, and we’re very thorough in our contracts. We’re also honest and up-front – I always talk to every customer and get approval before we do any extra work. We always try to be as transparent as possible in working with our customers;
we don’t want to nickel-and-dime anybody.”
Doug Cole Quality Construction puts a priority on meeting deadlines. “We do everything in a timely manner,” says Cole. “We clean our jobs sites daily, and, while things like weather can affect a job’s schedule, obviously, we do our best to keep things on time. One of the biggest keys in this respect is communication with the customer. I keep the lines of communication with them open during each step of the job, and I’m always available if they need to reach me.”
Doug Cole Quality Construction is licensed and insured, and references are available upon request. For more information or a free estimate, give them a call.
