Fitness Xpress 24/7, a branch of the Oklahoma-based company All American Fitness, is a club that is all about convenience for its members and guests. Simply put, Fitness Xpress 24/7 never closes. With nearby locations in Sand Springs and Broken Arrow, as well as locations in Norman, Edmond, Shawnee and Oklahoma City, Fitness Xpress 24/7 offers patrons a well-equipped, comfortable and safe place to work out at any hour of the day. “Fitness Xpress 24/7 is perfect for people who want to get in and get out,” says owner Jim Benien. “They are less crowded and quieter than other clubs. The emphasis is on convenience and comfort.” All exercise equipment is state of the art.
Each club member receives an access card so that they can work out anytime – 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The facility is staffed Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. “It is safe for people to come in when a staff member is not working, because high-end security cameras are in place, and you can’t get in without an access card,” says Benien.
The well-equipped clubs include cardio equipment such as ellipticals, recumbent cycles, upright cycles, climbers and treadmills. Each cardio machine has its own private electronic LCD television screen. Resistance equipment includes plateload, pin select, rubber weights and rubber dumbbells. Specialized flooring and private locker rooms are also available. “The clubs have very nice locker rooms and showers, and they are safe and well-lit,” says Benien. “They’re great for those who feel more comfortable in a less crowded environment. The clubs are convenient, clean and well-equipped, and that’s what customers want.”

All American Fitness is an Oklahoma business that got its start in 1976 as a racquetball facility. The company now offers a variety of clubs throughout the state. Fitness Xpress 24/7 was developed five years ago. “We looked at how the fitness industry was continuing to grow and expand, and how convenience was becoming an increasingly important commodity,” says Benien. “We opened the 24/7 clubs to satisfy the needs of the community. Many companies that are new in the fitness industry come from other parts of the country, but we’re from here and we live here, so we have an awareness of what people want.”
