Exciting things are happening at COR619 in Owasso. While still offering their amazing personal training programs, they have now added two dynamic opportunities for group fitness, COR Nation and COR HYPE.
COR Nation is a brand new group fitness class offered at 5:30 a.m. and 9 a.m., Monday thru Friday. Additional class times are expected to be added as the demand continues. What makes COR Nation so effective? “It is full body functional training,” explains COR619 owner Steve Dibbins, “that means it is a full body workout using strength training, endurance and agility work and cardio. We combine light weights and body resistance. It is truly a full body workout in 30 minutes. With the use of our shower facility, you can get in and out and on to work in no time.”
From members in their thirties to the elderly, all are welcome in COR Nation because the workouts are easily modified to fit every fitness level, and every member is monitored for safety throughout the sessions by nationally certified instructors. “We actually have one 71 year old gentleman who is diabetic who has lost 20 pounds in 6 weeks. His blood pressure and blood sugar have improved, and he has been able to decrease his medication.”
Members of COR Nation are also eligible to participate in the “COR Nation 20 LBS. Fat Loss Challenge” wherein members receive a nutrition plan and personalized instruction and coaching with guaranteed results. If a participant loses 20 pounds and meets each of the accountability requirements of the challenge in 8 weeks then they get their money back for joining!
COR619 has also added a one-of-a-kind fun fitness experience that takes place each Saturday outdoors, weather permitting—COR HYPE (Helping You Pursue Excellence). The Saturday class runs approximately 45 minutes and meets right outside of COR619 in the parking lot at 9 a.m. “It’s a fun and challenging workout using cross-training, cardio, obstacles (like ropes and cones) for focused agility and strength training in the outdoors,” describes Shawn Copeland, COR 619 Fitness Director.
And the best part? “You can bring your kids! Children, ages 12 and under, can come with a parent free of charge and work out,” states Copeland. Friends can also come along on a trial basis for up to two free workouts to try it out before joining. Membership to COR HYPE classes are offered as a free additional benefit to COR Nation members or can be purchased separately if not an existing member.
With Spring just around the corner, there is no time like the present to look and feel better. COR619 can help you.
