Alan McLaughlin, service director and 2010 Employee of the Year, and Kevin Dickens are integral parts of the service team at Ferguson Advantage Imports in Broken Arrow.
Alan McLaughlin of Ferguson Advantage Imports in Broken Arrow sums up his commitment with this statement: “We’re all about service.” McLaughlin has been with Ferguson Advantage Imports since 2001 and has served as service technician, shop foreman, and now service director. He is a nationally certified technician and master technician for Isuzu, Subaru, Suzuki and Kia. He is also the recipient of the Ferguson 2010 Employee of the Year Award.
It’s apparent when talking with McLaughlin that he is committed to making each customer’s service experience a positive one. “We try to do it right the first time, every time,” he explains. “We want customers to leave satisfied and looking forward to coming back whenever their vehicle needs service.”
The Ferguson Advantage Imports service department provides high-level automotive service on all makes and models. Their state-of-the-art facility features the most current diagnostic and repair equipment, and their highly skilled, factory-trained technicians deliver efficient, quality vehicle care. Service advisors receive scheduled update training. Kevin Dickens – master certified technician for Subaru and certified technician for Suzuki – rounds out the service team with his advanced training and abilities.
“Our pricing is extremely fair and competitive,” says McLaughlin. Manufacturer recommended parts are an important part of maintaining your vehicle’s optimum performance. Ferguson offers the same high quality parts your vehicle was built with, and they keep a large inventory of these certified parts in stock at all times. They utilize Hunter diagnostic equipment and perform services including wheel balancing, alignments, tire repair, and oil and filter changes. Ferguson Advantage Imports also sells a selection of tires, batteries, and other auto accessories. “All of our technicians receive periodic update training on the services we provide,” says McLaughlin. The showroom will be fully remodeled in 2011 to make your visit even more enjoyable.
Ferguson supplies shuttle services for customers, with a vehicle running every half hour from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you need to rent a car while your vehicle is in for service or repair, Ferguson has partnered with Enterprise Rent-a-Car to provide competitive rental rates.
They also offer complete auto detailing services. “With the overall growth we experienced last year, we feel like we’re doing something right,” explains McLaughlin.
When you arrive at the service drive, an advisor will walk around your car with you and note the visual condition of some of the parts. You will also receive the Ferguson Advantage Imports multi-point vehicle inspection that includes items like body condition, lights, tire tread depth, turn signals, and taillights. You will receive a checklist of the operating systems of your vehicle, noting the condition of the air filter, engine drive belts and other belts, radiator hoses and other hoses, cabin air filter, air conditioning output, spark plugs, fuel system, shocks and struts, exhaust system, engine or transmission oil leaks, and more. Your vehicle’s alignment, wiper blades, battery, and brakes will be checked and a recommendation will be made if needed. This is a physical check-up for your vehicle, and you will probably leave feeling much better knowing your vehicle is in good shape, or that you have identified and corrected items that could have led to future problems.
Alan McLaughlin and Ferguson Advantage Imports want your experience with the service department to be graded A+. Service hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
