Discount Garage Door installs 24-gauge steel, high R-value insulated doors and premium garage door operators everywhere from million dollar homes to storage buildings. They use industry and consumer top quality rated products, like Wayne Dalton, Doorlink, Genie, and Liftmaster. “We know these products are the best and we want to offer them for the best price,” said Dustin.

“Most people associate the term ‘discount’ with a cheap product,” says Owner Dustin Loyal, “but we pride ourselves on that name because of our prices. We just want to do right by people and sell them the best quality part or product for a great price.”

Dustin was born and raised on a farm in Wellston, Oklahoma, before moving to Phoenix at 18 years old. It was there that he began his career in the garage door industry for a national garage door sales, service and installation company.  Dustin moved back to the Oklahoma City area in 2001 and established Discount Garage Door, expanding to Tulsa in 2010.

“When you set an appointment for a free estimate, a member of our professional team will come to your home.  We will measure your existing door and opening, identifying any potential obstacles; overcoming those up front,” said Sales Manager Bill Layne.  “We will show you color and panel samples.  We also have photos of the actual doors available for your selection, and can provide you with a computer generated mock-up of your selection.”

While most companies offer warranties only up to a year, Discount Garage Door has a five-year warranty on parts and labor.

“Our warranty definitely set us apart,” said General Manager Kyle McIntyre. “Most true warranties are for 90 days to a year, and that’s just on parts. We go above and beyond for our customers by offering a five-year warranty on labor. Our reviews are all five star and by real customers in the Tulsa metro area. We really take pride in that.”

Another unique factor to the Discount Garage team is their four-legged family member. Some folks may also recognize Jasper, Dustin’s Irish wolfhound, from Discount Garage Door events and commercials.

“We’ve kind of dubbed him our mascot,” says Dustin. “He’s our star.  He’s the reason that people walk up to us at shows.”

Discount Garage Door operates on a 24/7-business model. An employee is always there to answer the phone, even on nights and weekends. It will cost you the same whether you have an emergency and need someone immediately on a Sunday night or a Tuesday morning.

Discount Garage Door works with the St. Jude Dream Home each year with 100% donation. They also donate to Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels and the Tulsa Performing Arts Center rehearsal space.
