Although the service is available all year, catering is most popular during the holiday season. “We do a lot of Christmas lunches and dinners,” says Larry Lyster, co-owner of The Hamlet. “We can cater complete meals, including salad, vegetables, sides and desserts; and we deliver it hot.” The Hamlet’s catering services are in high demand, so Lyster encourages potential customers to book early. And, weather permitting, the company can host parties on its deck. Some of which have included birthday parties, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, CD release parties and bunco parties in the past.

Each Hamlet store has a full-service deli with a wide selection of products. The Hamlet features Boar’s Head meats and cheeses, which, according to Lyster, are the finest in quality and freshness. Customers can also get delicious hams, smoked turkey or sliced honey-kissed turkey breasts. Perfect for gift-giving, The Hamlet also offers corporate discounts on holiday hams and turkeys.

A variety of specialty foods is available at The Hamlet, including jams, salsas, mustards, barbecue sauces and soups. Fine products are carried from Barefoot Contessa, Blues Hog Barbecue, Robert Rothschild, Stonewall Kitchen, Oak Hill Farms, as well The Hamlet’s own brand of gourmet foods and Oklahoma-made products. Any of The Hamlet’s gourmet food items make great gifts, and the company can ship them anywhere in the United States.

A large number of food trays and party platters can be arranged for customers with any combination of products carried by The Hamlet. The popular Honey-Kissed Gourmet platter features spiral-sliced ham or honey-kissed turkey breast surrounded by seasonal fruits, vegetables and cheeses. For lunch, sliced meat and cheese, breads and trimming trays can be purchased. Also popular are the finger sandwiches and dollar-roll sandwich trays, as well as ham, chicken and tuna salads. To round out each meal, dessert trays of brownies and cookies are available.

With great specials, including cold or grilled sandwiches, wraps, salads and other favorites, The Hamlet is the perfect choice for lunch. Special for the holiday season is The Hamlet’s holiday meal with stuffing and related fixings. Although lunch is served at all Hamlet locations, the store on 71st Street has a limited menu.
