Is your garage a mess?

Is your garage a mess? Can you get your car into it, or is there too much stuff in there? If you’re ready for organized living, Garage Makeovers can help you organize your stuff and make your garage neat and tidy with strong, durable and attractive cabinets.

A well-sorted garage is becoming important for more and more people, as the garage is now the primary entrance to the home for many people. Nearly three out of four homeowners enter their houses through their garages more than their front doors.

“The garage has evolved,” says John Brawley, owner of Garage Makeovers. He has over thirty-five years in the garage business. “I’ve watched it evolve from one-car and unfinished to two-car with sheetrock walls. Now you’ve got disappearing attic stairs, and people are painting their garage and adding trim. The next paradigm we’re moving into is organizing and getting things into cabinets.”

Garage remodeling is a relatively young industry. “We’ve seen the development and expansion of kitchens and baths, the additions of big closets and outdoor kitchens – the garage is the next place,” says Brawley. “Your garage is a lot of square feet. It’s usually the biggest room in your house.”

“A lot of people have their junk in the garage and the car in the driveway, out in the weather,” says Brawley. “A lot of neighborhood covenants have restrictions on storage buildings. And mini-storage isn’t a great option. There is a lot of space in the garage, and it can be used efficiently. We’ll come in and put in your cabinets, clean out your garage and haul off your old stuff.”

The cabinets Garage Makeovers will install for you are mounted on the wall – they’re all off the floor, so they’re always true and level. Many garage slabs aren’t level; they fall toward the street. This can cause floor-standing cabinets to warp over time.

Garage Makeovers offers a large selection of cabinets. They come in widths of 12, 24 and 36 inches, depths of 12, 16 and 24 inches, and heights ranging from 16 inches to 6 feet tall. All told, there are about 60 different cabinets to choose from, and they’re customizable to your garage. Cabinets are available in a variety of colors and grains, including white, natural finish and light maple. All the cabinets Garage Makeovers install are manufactured in Oklahoma.

Garage Makeovers provides a free consultation to help you figure out your storage needs. Garage Makeovers also offers full-service installation by trained and courteous professionals, and most installations are completed in just one day. Garage Makeovers also handles overhead doors, garage door openers, and just about anything else that has to do with the garage.

Garage Makeovers can help you get your garage nice and neat. If you’re ready for organized living, give them a call for a free consultation. You can also visit them at the Greater Tulsa Home and Garden Show.
