After working in general construction for over 10 years, Ed was building their own home and wanted to cover it with seamless steel siding however the nearest company was an ABC Seamless franchise located near Springfield, Missouri.
“The Springfield ABC Seamless wouldn’t travel all the way here to install siding, but the more Ed learned about it, about its quality and how effective it was, the more he wanted it,” she said. “The more research he did on it (the steel siding), the more impressed he was with it, and a year later, we decided to join the ABC Seamless family – and it is a family – we started our own franchise in Chouteau in 2014.”
So impressed was the company with the Yoder’s efforts and growth, after only two years of being franchise owners, they were selected among 100 other franchise owners to receive the illustrious National Franchise of the Year Award in 2016 – and the rest, as they say, is history.
“The product, the installation, and the service is the same now as it was when we first started the franchise,” she said. “One thing ABC Seamless has always prided themselves on is never discontinuing a product style or color because of the superior quality, lifetime warranty and high customer satisfaction.”

“We get our materials in 800-pound steel coils, run it through a machine to form it, and each piece is made to custom fit the length of your home – there are literally no seams,” Yoder said. “This is done at the homeowner’s house, and each individual piece is different – some are made to allow for windows, some have to be made to allow for doors, some for both windows and doors, etc. It’s not an exaggeration to say that literally every piece is customized for the home and the homeowner.”

“Through an app called HOVER, we’re able to create a 3D model of the customer’s home by taking several pictures of the home from different angles, and from this, a 3D model is created of the house, which we are able to share with the customer or potential customer,” she said. “From this, they can ‘try out’ different styles or colors of siding to see how their home could look. Our customers have all responded very positively to this – they love it.”

“Sometimes, we give out addresses of homes that we’ve done – with the homeowner’s permission, of course – so people can go by and see for themselves the quality of our work,” she said.
