Tile By Tony has been expanding since 1982, when master craftsman Tony Sementi first opened the business. Located at 1875 N. Highway 66 in Catoosa, the showroom offers customers hands-on experience with the products to better equip them to decide what they want in their own homes.

Tile By Tony recently added granite and quartz countertop and hardwood flooring installation to their growing line of products, although the company has always specialized in bathroom remodels and new installations. “We now present granite, marble, slate, porcelain and engineered stone in our product line,” says Tony. “Engineered stone is a hybrid between natural and man-made stone that has been improved upon until it was perfected into a stain-proof and very durable material.”

Heated floor systems, a desirable luxury in almost any home, can be installed by Tile By Tony. The heated floor systems can turn chilly bathroom or kitchen floors into warm, comforting surfaces.

Tony employs five installation crews and two countertop crews. All crewmembers have extensive experience and undergo additional training at Tile By Tony to maximize their craftsmanship and customer service. Tony oversees his crews on each job, performing thorough walkthroughs so that his estimates to his customers are accurate and do not include unexpected, additional costs. The crews work steadily on one job at a time and do not take on other projects until the current one is finished. Tile By Tony is insured and warranties both his service and products.

Although a deposit is required in advance for materials, payment is made by customers as the work is in progress, not before the project is started, unlike other remodeling companies. Everyone at Tile By Tony keeps up with the newest technologies, and the company often consults customers who have had product failure or poor installation on labor previously done by other companies.

“I am very discerning when it comes to products and work,” says Tony. “We do not follow the latest fads or gimmicks. I prefer to work with tried and true products, using methods for complete satisfaction, which is why I make sure that the products are high-quality, cost effective and long-lasting.”

Tile By Tony’s large showroom displays types of tile in different areas of the home or business. Tony is also available to help those who want to do the job themselves. Since he buys in bulk, Tony is able to pass the savings on to his customers for their tile needs. However, some services and products are geared specifically for do-it-yourself projects.

Tile By Tony is a member of the National, Tulsa and Rogers Homebuilders Associations. Sementi predicts his company will undergo further expansion in the very near future.
