Express Service Manager Michael Yarber and Express Service Advisors Dartanyan Ingram and Tyler Lambert can help assure Honda owners a long and trouble-free ride at the new, bigger location of Joe Marina Honda.
It’s a little easier now for Honda owners to take good care of their cars, with the opening of the new Joe Marina Honda Express Service Center. Their new home at 7830 E. 91st St. provides twice as many lifts for lubes, oil and filter changes, tire rotations, battery and air filter replacements, and other minor preventive maintenance services.
Parts and Service Director Cliff Koger says the new facility that was formerly a Saturn dealership is designed not only for express car care, but for people care as well, with ladies especially in mind. Since 75 percent of their business is with women, either as car owners or the responsibility of car care, they put special emphasis on the little details that will make her life easier.
An express shuttle runs Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. to provide transportation to work, home, a restaurant, a movie theater, the mall or any of the many nearby shopping venues. When the customer is ready to leave, she can call Joe Marina for shuttle pick-up.
For those who choose to wait the usual 30 to 40 minutes, a comfortable lounge with a big screen television is available, along with snacks and refreshments in the bistro. Wireless Internet access allows work to continue or the opportunity to just keep in touch with friends and family. Kids have a special play area with toys, puzzles and children’s movies while mom keeps an eye on them around the corner.
As an added touch, every car that is serviced at Joe Marina Honda is also washed at no extra charge. Every car also undergoes a complete inspection to make sure everything is in good working order. A service advisor points out any potential problems and discusses how they can affect the car. These are the things that can make a difference down the road, especially with a car’s longevity.
Cliff regularly sees several Hondas whose odometers have surpassed 300,000 miles, and some that were built in the mid-’80s. With regular care and awareness of needs, this longevity is not unusual.
The expert service staff at Joe Marina Honda really knows what they are doing. Some veteran members go back 27 and 30 years out of the nearly 40 years in business. All of them are trained by the manufacturer as specialists in their field. They use only original equipment components that maintain exact manufacturer’s specifications, so everything fits perfectly and works perfectly.
An extra lady’s touch comes from both a female express technician and service advisor.
Another valuable service just added to their menu is headlight restoration. A lot of customers have complained about night visibility. “In time, sun damage causes lights to glaze over,” Cliff explains. Many times this is hardly noticeable unless visibility is foggy on an otherwise clear night. There are a lot of what Cliff calls “fly-by-night places” that sand out sun damage. But in a few short months, the glaze returns. At Joe Marina Honda, headlight restoration includes a clear-coat protectant that lasts. Each job comes with a two-year guaranty, and costs only about one-fourth of headlight replacement.
For preventive maintenance, customer education and top-notch Honda service, call Joe Marina Honda at (918) 491-0220. The Express Service Center is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointment requests can also be made online at www.joemarinahonda.com.
