Dr. Kyle Hrdlicka provides a variety of laser procedures for treatment of varicose veins, wrinkles, lax skin and brown spots at Vascular & Vein Laser Center in Claremore.
With new techniques at the Vascular & Vein Laser Center in Claremore, it is easier than ever to look and feel better without the downtime. Kyle Hrdlicka, D.O., offers a variety of laser procedures that include the treatment of varicose veins, wrinkles, lax skin and brown spots. Dr. Hrdlicka is a certified general, vascular and endovascular surgeon who performs the procedures at the Vascular & Vein Laser Center. He and his staff always strive to give their patients the best care possible.
With the purchase of their new laser, they can help get rid of unwanted wrinkles on your face and neck, as well as brown spots that have resulted from sun damaged skin. They always offer a free initial consultation to see what would best fit you and your skin. A few procedures they offer include MD Forte, Juvederm, Botox, and Microdermabrasion.
To more effectively reduce the look of varicose veins, the newer procedure that is done in place of the traditional vein stripping is known as the ELAS, or Endoluminal Ablation of the Saphenous Vein. ELAS therapy has many advantages. Pain caused by veins is immediately relieved and the appearance is greatly improved, with no scarring. A quick recovery time follows with little pain. The patient will be able to walk immediately and then resume daily activities. “This procedure is minimally invasive, produces good results and is generally very well tolerated by the patients. We also do all of the authorizations through the patient’s insurance company so they don’t have to,” says Dr. Hrdlicka.
The procedure is done in the Vascular & Vein Laser Center office while the patient is under a form of anesthesia called tumescent anesthesia, which has been used by dermatologists and plastic surgeons for years. Now used in vein procedures, it minimizes bleeding and has lasting effects to help with any postoperative discomfort.
The radio frequency ablation procedure is another treatment offered at the Vascular & Vein Laser Center. If you experience swollen limbs, leg heaviness and fatigue, or if you have seen skin changes or ulcers, the treatment is a good one to consider. Used to treat venous statis ulcers and varicose veins, the procedure typically provides immediate relief of symptoms.
“I encourage anyone who is experiencing discomfort or has concerns about the appearance of veins in their legs to schedule an appointment. An initial consultation is free and after the problem has been diagnosed, a treatment plan is set up. The patient is then counseled on what to expect from the treatments and what results can be achieved,” says Dr. Hrdlicka.
