June’s Garage has been in business for 3 years. Owners and stylists Amy June Sanders and Heidi June Martell were both named after their grandmothers, a fact that made an instant bond when the two met and became best friends five years ago. Proving that friends can indeed go into business together, Amy and Heidi decided to open a salon that provided a trendy, yet comfortable atmosphere for their clients in the Tulsa/Bixby metro area.

Amy and Heidi look for both personality and skill in their stylists. In order to bring on someone new, they first meet with the candidate face-to-face; if the stylist is compatible, they will then request that the applicant bring in a model and demonstrate cut and color skills.

June’s Garage specializes in edgy cuts, color and styles. Each cut, color and style is unique and is made to bring out the best in each client, not only in their hair type, but also those styles that are most flattering to the face.

One of the main trends that is being seen in hair care these days is to avoid over-styling.
