My Doctor Urgent Care understands that your time and health are important, and has pledged to get you in and out of the office as quickly as possible, while still delivering high-quality personal care to you and your family. “While we strive to get patients in and out in about 30 minutes, earning the trust of each patient is our highest ­priority,” said Dr. Stan Stacy. “Our motto: Get in.     When you enter the ­beautiful new offices of My Doctor Urgent Care, you’ll be promptly greeted by a member of the staff at the patient ­reception area, where you will explain the reason for your visit. A staff member will also ­measure vital signs and gather additional information. The ­center accepts most insurances. A medical provider will then see you, review the information you’ve provided, and possibly ask additional questions about your medical history and your current problem. After an ­examination, and with your ­permission, additional tests, lab, ­X-ray or EKG may be required to assist in making a diagnosis. Wound repairs or splinting of orthopedic injuries can also be completed at My Doctor Urgent Care. Dr. Stacy and his medical providers welcome questions you may have anytime during the examination or treatment process.

    Upon completion of your examination and treatment, you will be provided an explanation of your diagnosis and any tests that were conducted. Instructions and any prescriptions provided will be thoroughly explained to you. If needed, you may be supplied with medication through the in-house pharmacy.

    “We treat just about anything from lacerations to ear aches to sinus infections and rashes,” says Dr. Stacy. My Doctor Urgent Care has some ­in-house laboratory capabilities and an in-house pharmacy that stocks many pharmaceuticals including antibiotics and anti-inflammatories. They provide urgent care for allergic reactions, arthritis, ­asthma and emphysema (COPD), broken bones and ­fractures, back pain, coughs and colds, flu, gynecological issues, pregnancy testing, headache, sprains and strains, sore throat, minor burns, and more.

    My Doctor Urgent Care provides occupational health services including treatment of injured workers, pre-employment physicals and drug and alcohol screening, as well as DOT physicals.

    The center has digital ­state-of-the-art X-ray capabilities, and your X-ray and EKG are read immediately. My Doctor Urgent Care also provides screenings and physicals for school, sports, and employment.

    Dr. Stan Stacy opened the doors to My Doctor Urgent Care in March of 2012. Dr. Stacy has an emergency medical background and has served the needs of the Tulsa community for the past 20 years. He grew up in Tulsa, received his undergraduate training at the University of Oklahoma, and completed his education at Oklahoma State University Health Sciences Center in 1991. Dr. Stacy completed an emergency medicine residency and is board certified in that specialty. Prior to opening My Doctor Urgent Care, he practiced ­emergency and urgent care ­medicine at Southcrest Hospital.
