For over 25 years, Fox Cleaners has prided itself on providing the Tulsa metropolitan area with superior quality and service. They are quick too, offering same-day service at all nine of their locations.

Fox Cleaners offers a variety of services, including dry cleaning, laundry, leather cleaning (including shoes), wedding dress cleaning and preservation, waterproofing, and the cleaning of household items such as bedding, tablecloths and furniture coverings. Fox Cleaners also offers minor repair services for leather and households, and will replace missing buttons for free. They’ll also recycle the countless extra hangers so many people have cluttering up their closets.

Founded in 1984, Fox Cleaners was purchased in 2005 by Phillips Breckinridge. Since then, Breckinridge has nearly doubled the number of Fox Cleaners locations in the Tulsa area. This summer, Fox Cleaners acquired Tulsa’s four Grindstaff Cleaners locations; these have since been fully converted to the Fox Cleaners brand and management. This brings the total number of Fox Cleaners locations to nine: eight in Tulsa and one in Jenks.

“Fox Cleaners has competitive pricing, and we have the best customer service in town,” says General Manager Saleem Boone. “We’re going to take care of you and treat you with respect. Our promise is, ‘It’s right, it’s on time, or it’s free.’”

Fox Cleaners has the biggest home pickup and delivery service in town, says Bill Ewen, manager of the 41st and Harvard location. Twice a week, Fox Cleaners will come to your home or office to pick up your dry cleaning, laundry and other items, for free. “Our drivers are the best,” Ewen says. “And the service is convenient: you don’t have to be home for us to pick up or drop off your clothes, either.”

Boone adds, “The free pickup and delivery is a great service. It saves you time and gas because you don’t have to try to come to the store. It’s especially great with all the road construction going on all over town.”

Fox Cleaners places a heavy emphasis on community involvement. “We support a lot of different charities, schools, churches and other non-profit organizations,” says Ewen. “We’ve supported St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, specifically their Dream Home Giveaway. Probably the biggest one for us is Blue Star Mothers of America. We take donations for Freedom Boxes, which are mailed to the troops, here in the store.”

All Fox Cleaners locations are open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Their two plant stores (41st and Harvard and 91st and Sheridan) are open on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and all other locations are open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
