    Six years ago, Mustard Seed Door Consignment owners Diana Clark and her son John Clark were approached by a group of interior designers and decorators with the idea of ­opening a quality furniture ­consignment shop in Tulsa that offered impeccable integrity and service. Diana and John discovered there are many people who, for a variety of reasons, need a way to sell and buy gently-used, quality home furnishings. This need can be triggered by a move of some type, a desire to change your home décor, a marriage or divorce, or the purchase of a ­second home. Many people today are downsizing, moving to ­assisted living, or setting up their first household and are looking for good quality furniture. Those who have been through the death of a loved one often need a dignified and respectful way to place furniture and décor into the hands of a new owner ­without having to deal with the time and hassle of selling it themselves.     Mustard Seed Door ­experiences a quick merchandise turnaround, which allows for the steady stream of new items ­arriving daily. Many customers come in every Saturday from areas outside of Tulsa because they know there will be new things to see and experience.
