Hospitality House of Tulsa is pleased to announce the appointment of Jacob McIntosh as Chief Development Officer.
With over 15 years of nonprofit and hospitality experience, along with his family’s own medical crisis, McIntosh’s heartfelt connection to the mission of Hospitality House of Tulsa is evident. Through his enthusiasm to serve more families experiencing medical crises he shared “I feel so blessed to be able to join my non-profit professional experience with my personal story of medical crisis. I have often prayed for a day when those two parts of my life would merge, and now they are at Hospitality House. I look forward to serving our community and the families by providing compassionate medical lodging and support during one of the most difficult times in their lives.”
The appointment marks a significant step in the organization’s successful growth since its inception in 2004. Toni Moore, President and CEO, highlighted the timing of McIntosh’s onboarding and shared excitement for the nonprofit’s next chapter of growth in the coming year. “We could not be more excited to have Jacob McIntosh join our leadership team, especially in this time of growth for our mission. His compassion for families in medical crisis, and his passion to serve others will allow us to continue to grow both our Hospitality House of Tulsa program and our new Lodgingly program.”
In 2024, Hospitality House of Tulsa served more families than in previous years by providing medical lodging, meals, prayer support, and transportation to 660 families. Additionally, its new Lodgingly program, providing discounted lodging at quality hotels near hospitals experienced an 84% growth in number of families served, with over 200 families having access to medical lodging and restaurant discounts saving them thousands of dollars in out of pocket expenses.
