Will Hooks is employed by DMI and is an expert in home and business restoration services. Will was attending Gadsden State University when he attended a job fair and met a U.S. Army recruiter. Will was impressed and decided the U.S. Army was calling him. He enlisted with every intention of making the Army a career for the next next 25 years. While in the Army, Will received training in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, earned his commercial drivers license, was HASMAT certified and qualified on virtually all military weapons.
While serving a 15 month tour in Iraq, Will’s military occupation specialty was 92F, a petroleum supply specialist. He supervised the reception, storage and shipping of petroleum fuel for the U.S. Army. Will’s operation was a prime target of the enemy and was frequently the target of everything from IEDs to small-arms fire.
“My tour in Iraq was the roughest 15 months of my life,” says Will.
After an injury, Will’s Army career was cut short by a medical retirement. He served his country and the U.S. Army for ten years.
