Laura Simms, co-owner of Re-Bath of Tulsa
Re-Bath of Tulsa is a local, family-owned company that specializes in one-day bath remodeling. The company has more than 6,000 satisfied customers since its establishment in 1993. Currently the only authorized dealer of Re-Bath products in the greater Tulsa area, Re-Bath of Tulsa has a clean advantage in the tub and shower industry. Re-Bath’s specialty in one-day bath remodeling will be highlighted on June 25 when the Third Annual Ugliest Bathtub Contest is launched.
Laura Simms, Re-Bath of Tulsa co-owner, says, “We had so much fun doing this that we have decided to make it a tradition.” Running from June 25 through July 27, the contest will be sponsored by KTUL NewsChannel 8. Simms explains, “You can enter by dropping off your ‘ugly bathtub’ photo at the KTUL studio or by mailing it directly to P.O. Box 8108, Tulsa, OK 74101.”
At the end of the contest, five finalists will be named. The grand prize winner will receive a new acrylic bathtub, smooth acrylic wall system, plumbing fixtures and accessories. The total value of the prize is over $4,000. Additionally, all entries will receive discounted rates on any work performed by Re-Bath of Tulsa.
A national franchise, Re-Bath pioneered the concept of acrylic bathtubs in 1979. Having installed more than 1,000,000 acrylic bathtubs nationwide, the company remains the undisputed leader in the industry. Re-Bath offers over 850 bathtub molds, which is the largest collection in the business. Re-Bath of Tulsa guarantees that its new acrylic bathtubs will fit perfectly and last for a lifetime.

Re-Bath uses a remarkable process in its work. Upon contacting the company, a design consultant measures the current bathtub, photographs it and sends the image to the manufacturer. Impact-resistant acrylic bathtubs are then custom-made to fit over the current cast iron or steel bathtubs. A variety of styles and colors are offered to suit any décor, including granite, marble and slate.
Once the order is received from the manufacturer, tub systems can be installed in one day. “The systems not only look great, but they are virtually maintenance-free,” Simms says. Financing options are also available.
As a company, Re-Bath of Tulsa is equipped to update tub and shower areas, perform tub-to-shower conversions, fiberglass replacements and new construction. Additionally, Re-Bath has a line of stylish accessories to compliment each bathroom’s new look. Color-coordinated shelves for shampoo and soap dishes are just a few of the customized accessories.
Visit Re-Bath of Tulsa’s showroom at 6549 E. 46th St., Suite 1, to see the variety of options offered by the company. Showroom hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Do not forget to enter the Third Annual Ugliest Bathtub Contest June 25 through July 27 for a chance to win a new bath system.
