Join thousands of visitors at the annual Rhema Christmas Lights and witness over three million shimmering lights synchronized to Christmas music across 110 acres. This much-loved light display in Broken Arrow began in 1982 and has been attracting visitors ever since. Experience the wonder of illuminated festive figures like a gingerbread family with lollipops and gumdrops, Noah's ark with animals, 3D angels and reindeer, a Christmas tree forest, a 50-figure nativity scene and more. Visitors to the Rhema Christmas Lights can drive through the lights in their own vehicle, get out of the car and walk around the park, or view the spectacular displays from a horse-drawn carriage. Don't miss the Rhema Park bridge, complete with over 90,000 lights draped across the bridge alone. Synchronized to both classic and modern Christmas music, these lights have delighted visitors of all ages. While there, enjoy concessions that include cups of hot chocolate, piping hot coffee or sweet apple cider while venturing into the displays. Popcorn, funnel cakes and other treats will also be available. Admission to Rhema Christmas Lights is free; however, donations are appreciated.

Experience animated displays and over 1.2 million shimmering lights at Muskogee's annual Garden of Lights. Drive through Honor Heights Park and view 130 acres of trees, bushes and water areas decorated for the holiday season. Rose and azalea bushes will be illuminated with color, imitating their natural state during the blooming of spring. This Christmas light display will also feature lighted displays of deer, squirrels and birds scattered amongst a wide variety of trees wrapped in lights.

BROKEN ARROW—Get ready for the Christmas season at Rhema Bible Church! Starting at 6 p.m. on November 27, the campus will transform into a winter wonderland with horse-and-buggy rides, hot chocolate, popcorn, and a dazzling display of Christmas lights. The event runs nightly from 5:30 to 11:30 p.m. through January 1. Drawing nearly a half million visitors each year, the Rhema Christmas Lights display is a must-see holiday tradition. New and brighter energy-efficient LED lights decorate the 110-acre Rhema campus located at 1025 West Kenosha in Broken Arrow. Walking through the park and around the grounds, you’ll encounter whimsical scenes, including a gingerbread family surrounded by lollipops and gumdrops, a 50-figure nativity scene, and a synchronized musical display of trees and dancing snowflakes. Concessions and horse-and-buggy rides open at 6 p.m. on November 27 and then at 5:30 p.m. each night through January 1. Walk-up concessions are available in the park. Mark your calendar for a visit to Keystone State Park on January 1 for a free guided hike. The first hike will take place first thing on New Year's Day at midnight. The second hike will take place at 10am. Meet at the park office and bring your leashed pets, binoculars, a camera, water and appropriate dress for a cool-weather hike. The event is held in conjunction with the America's State Parks First Day Hikes initiative that will take place in all 50 states. First Day Hikes offer individuals and families the opportunity to begin the New Year connecting with the outdoors and staying active.

This festive event features thousands of lights and holiday festivities for all ages. On December 3, kick off the season during Lights On, hosted by News on 6 Chief Meteorologist Travis Meyer. The evening also includes live entertainment, free photos with Santa and a holiday market featuring more than 30 local vendors. The Glow on the Green holiday lights will be on every night through January 2.

Claremore Lake lights will return for the second year! Starting on November 20th, residents and visitors can drive through the Claremore Lake Park and experience the Christmas lights and displays from the comfort of their warm vehicle. Lights will begin each night at dusk and remain on until 10 p.m. through Jan. 4, 2025. The Claremore Lake lights will begin at the Blue Starr Road entrance and displays will be featured throughout the park. Multiple photo opportunities will be available, and visitors are encouraged to use the hashtag #ClaremoreLakeLights on social media to capture and share memories. There is no cost to enjoy the Claremore Lake light display. Before you head out to the Claremore Lake be sure to check out one of our local eateries! Hours: Dusk until 10:00p.m.

The Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals at Tulsa Expo Square's River Spirit Expo is an annual competition for Midget Sprint Car racing. Held each year for over 30 years, these races attract over 300 talented drivers from around the world. Five qualifying night races lead up to the championship competition on Saturday. Come out and enjoy gospel and traditional bluegrass music during the Western Hills Winter Bluegrass Festival. Held over three days in January, this bluegrass festival is a fast-moving display of musical talent with a handful of bands showcasing their skills on the fiddle, banjo and guitar. The Western Hills Winter Bluegrass Festival, held on the grounds of the beautiful Lodge at Sequoyah State Park, will feature top bands from Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Colorado, and Missouri. A special all-gospel show will be performed on Thursday. Bring your favorite instrument and participate in jam sessions held in the hotel lobby. A variety of musical workshops will also be held throughout the festival, so get your ticket or a three-day pass and brush up on your bluegrass skills. Workshops will be held on instruments such as the five-string banjo, flattop guitar, fiddle, mandolin, dobro, and bass. Workshops on all bluegrass stringed instruments will be held Friday afternoon. Visitors must have a ticket to participate in all events. Stick around each night after the concerts are over for all-night jam sessions. All activities are held indoors, so this event will be held rain or shine.

Make your way to the Mad Dog Demolition Derby at the Claremore Expo Center for an evening of fun and car smashing. It's time to Go Short, Go Long, Go Very Long. This annual 5K, 10K, 25K and 50K is back again with distances for every level of runner or walker. All courses are along the paved River Parks Trail System in Tulsa and are very flat with the exception of one hill that is encountered once on the 25K course and twice on the 50K course. The 5K and 10K courses are very flat. There will be great finisher medals for all distances, a long-sleeved tech shirt and post-race food and beer. Head to the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade through Tulsa to honor a legend and celebrate freedom with the community. This event grows every year and now includes hundreds of people with impressive displays of music and floats. The parade is organized by the Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration Society of Tulsa, which has been organizing ways to honor Dr. King since they formed in 1979.

The American Cowboys Rodeo Association presents the American Finals Rodeo this January at the Ford Truck Arena at Tulsa Expo Square. Make plans to watch action-packed rodeo performances each day. The top 15 cowboys and cowgirls will compete in traditional rodeo events including bareback bronc riding, tie-down roping, breakaway roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, team roping, and cowgirls' barrel racing and bull riding. See traditional western skill in action as these impressive young athletes compete in the American Finals Rodeo.

Trade workers build society’s infrastructure by providing critical skills and services to support business, organization and individual daily needs. During the Tulsa Welding School open house, instructors will speak with future students to share how they can become industry professionals in only seven months. Prospective students will witness live demonstrations conducted by instructors while showcasing the gear and tools they use in the program. Guided tours of facilities and classrooms will also be available during the event. The financial aid and career placement teams will also be on campus to provide information and answer any questions future students may have. During the career fair, local employers will be onsite to give insight into a career in welding, HVAC/R or electrical. Potential students and job seekers have the opportunity to network with company representatives and learn more about potential employers.
