Jeff Smith has served as the Tulsa HBA CEO for over 8 years. Prior to joining the HBA, he was a home builder for 11 years. His passion for connecting people with suppliers, general contractors, and home improvement companies made it a natural step in taking on the leadership position. “I’ve always found it most gratifying connecting people and helping them make connections,” said Jeff. This March, Tulsa Home Builders Association’s home shows are the place to be for generating new customers. The Tulsa HBA Home & Garden show will be held March 7 – 10 at the Tulsa Expo, 4145 E. 21st St., Tulsa; and the Tulsa HBA Claremore Home & Garden show is set for March 22 – 23 at the Claremore Expo located at 400 Veterans Parkway, Claremore. These are two of the most outstanding shows in the region and participating is the #1 way to grow your business.
“Prospective buyers still want to interact with, touch, feel, smell, and see what’s available in our market area,” explained Jeff Smith, Tulsa HBA Chief Executive Officer. “We anticipate over 20,000 attendees at our Tulsa show, as well as over 2,000 at our Claremore event. For vendors the dollars spent to inspire and engage new customers is great.”
Jeff emphasized, “Our organization believes in small local businesses and is committed to helping them thrive. Some of these businesses may not have a showroom. The Tulsa and Claremore home shows provide the perfect occasion for visitors to see their products and support their businesses.”
The Tulsa 2024 show will include 4 stages featuring educational and entertaining events. Local favorite gardening expert Paul James will provide an entertaining and instructive gardening presentation. The cooking stage will include participating Master Chef and local chefs who will be cooking up great food along with taste testing and recipes. The Family Stage will be a fun place for the kids with a circus, balloon artists, and face painting. There will also be an onsite Beer Garden featuring bands and a local brewery. Adult admission is $12.00; and free admission for kids under 12.
The Claremore 2024 show will be partnering with Master Gardeners who will enhance the show spaces with beautiful plantings and flowers as well as educate and answer gardening questions about what’s going on with your plants and helping with recommendations. There will be dogs available for adoption, too! Admission is free for all ages.
Booth spaces are available, and you don’t need to be an HBA member to participate. For more information about booth space applications, costs, and all show details see www.TulsaHBA.com; or contact Sarah Gentry at eat1@eau1eav1eaw1 or 918-663-5820.
