Just Between Friends Sale Set for September 13-16

Shop at the huge fall event for big savings on a wide variety of children’s items and more.

It’s here again! The Just Between Friends fall event in Broken Arrow is taking place September 13 through 16 at the Central Park Community Center. Coordinators for the nation’s leading children’s and maternity consignment event invite you to attend.

If you have never been to a Just Between Friends sale, the Broken Arrow event is a perfect opportunity to see what the excitement is all about. Available will be gently-used children’s, junior and maternity clothing, as well as baby equipment, household furniture, software, videos, toys and more at great prices. The Just Between Friends Broken Arrow franchise owner, Karen Cable says, “No longer will you have to run from garage sale to garage sale. We put it all under one roof.”

The idea behind Just Between Friends is to offer benefits for both buyers and sellers. Parents of children with outgrown clothes or toys that are no longer used can consign those products to Just Between Friends. Parents of other children can purchase those items at the biannual sales. Cable says, “So many people have told us that this sale makes a lot of sense. Especially when everyone these days has so much extra stuff they don’t even use.” Parents also really enjoy the discounted prices. Just Between Friends helps by allowing people to shop, sell and save. Actually, the official tagline of the organization is, “Shop, Sell, Save Smart!”

As many parents seasonally buy clothes for their children, Just Between Friends sales offer what parents need at the right time. “We offer everything customers need,” Cable explains. “You can shop here for two or three hours and be completely done. Parents have said that they can buy clothing at our events to last each of their children six months for less than $150.” Most of the items are prices at a third of retail.

Sale goers will find everything from toys to teen formal wear. Halloween costumes, baby furniture, school supplies and movies are just a few of the things sold at Just Between Friends sales. More toys than can be imagined will be available for purchase, including Barbie, Little Tikes and Fisher Price items. Special sections are devoted to sports equipment and baby equipment, including high chairs, strollers, playpens, cribs and changing stations.

Additionally, any unsold items from Just Between Friends events are given to charity. The Broken Arrow sale donates to the Broken Arrow Neighbors nonprofit organization. A previous Just Between Friends event gave so much to the organization that it was able to fill all of the Broken Arrow Neighbors’ needs and help out the Margaret Hudson Program with the remaining items. Donations of canned food, diapers, formula, baby food, clothing, personal hygiene products and even cash will be accepted for Broken Arrow Neighbors.

Thursday, September 13 Noon to 7 p.m.
Friday, September 14 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday, September 15 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Sunday, September 16 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Everything will be half-off on Sunday.

It is recommended that all shoppers bring a wagon, tub or laundry basket to hold merchandise while shopping. The event will be held at the Central Park Community Center, located at 1500 S. Main St. Just Between Friends also has franchises in Lawton, Muskogee, Norman, Oklahoma City, Owasso and Ada.
