Staff members Kevin McPhail, Jackie Chapman, Bill Schultheis and Brett Christian are excited about Riverside Toyota’s name change to Momentum Toyota of Tulsa and look forward to “keeping their excellent customer service momentum going!”
Effective August 29, 2011, Riverside Toyota-Scion changed its name to Momentum Toyota of Tulsa. Momentum Toyota is owned by Sonic Automotive, Inc., a world-class company and leader in the automotive retail industry. Sonic Automotive owns 108 automotive dealerships nationwide, and all Oklahoma stores operate under the Momentum banner.
According to Momentum Toyota General Sales Manager Kevin McPhail, “All Momentum dealerships operate under the same guidelines as set forth by the parent company, and all of the dealerships are interlinked.” In addition to many brands of new vehicles, all the dealerships also specialize in pre-owned vehicle sales. The benefit this brings to the metro Tulsa area customer base is that if you’re looking for a specific make and model of pre-owned vehicle, chances are good that Momentum Toyota can locate it for you at one of its “sister” dealerships and have it shipped to the Tulsa store.
Momentum is very aggressive in an “up-front” pricing program that virtually eliminates negotiating the price you pay for a vehicle. “We check market prices in our area daily,” says McPhail, “and do our best to come in with prices that are below the average purchase price for any like vehicle in northeast Oklahoma – new or used. We want to be America’s best place to shop for a car, as well as the best place to work.”
Momentum Service Director Brett Christian says that the dealership strives to provide the highest level of customer service available by always putting the customer first. “Our certified, expert, and master technicians go through continual training to stay on top of the ever-developing technologies available in today’s automobiles,” he said. Two of Momentum’s technicians have attained the level of master diagnostic technician, the highest level of certification.
Momentum Customer Relations Manager Jackie Chapman explains that her focus is to ensure customer satisfaction in all areas of the dealership, from sales through service. One of the benefits of purchasing a vehicle from Momentum is being a part of their new car owner’s event. Dinner meetings are held bi-monthly by reservation and last about an hour and a half. During this time, customers get to know employees who serve them at Momentum and are educated by a presentation that covers features, benefits, and the service process for the vehicle they have recently purchased. They are also invited to ask questions about features of their cars that they may not yet fully understand. “This is a great opportunity for us to keep up the momentum,” says Chapman.
Service Advisor Bill Schultheis greets customers as they come to the service area, records their concerns, and presents them to a technician who will repair or provide recommended vehicle services in a timely manner, to the complete satisfaction of the customer – each time a vehicle is brought to the service department.
The dealership has a new name, but come into Momentum for a new experience in car buying. Their goal is to help you be better informed, better listened to, and more confident that you’re getting a fair value than ever before.
