Considering your driveway is the first impression of your home, when your driveway needs renovating there are many options to improve its overall good looks and curb appeal, however what’s most important is its function.
Today’s vehicles are larger, there are more cars using the driveway, and driveways are play and social zones too. Choosing the right layout for your home’s driveway is important for this long-term investment.
“The driveway really is the first impression, and a new one can on average update the look of a home by 20 years,” he said. LCI specializes in driveway concrete replacement for existing and new home builds, and his company has provided more than 1,200 new driveways since 2005. Fully insured, Kalan and his employees have more than 70 years of combined experience working with concrete, with full rebar installation.
“We always highly recommend the use of rebar in concrete,” Kalan said. “It will increase the life span by approximately 20 years.”

“Concrete is durable, and when the soil and concrete are properly prepared and poured, you can expect it to last at least 30 to 40 years,” he says. “Concrete is environmentally friendly and is composed of renewable resources that can be recycled into granular fill or concrete aggregate.”
He also noted that his company has completed over $1,000,000.00 in driveways over the last 2 years, most of their jobs are completed in 1 day, and are insured for your protection. Additionally, they are polite, on time and clean up after the work is finished.
There are three popular driveway design choices: Circular driveways, curved radius driveways, and straight driveways.
“Circular drives are one of the most popular driveway layouts because they eliminate the need for backing out or turning around so that you can always safely enter oncoming traffic in drive with a clear view of the road,” explained Kalan.
LCI takes great pride in the speed at which they can complete their work. Removing and replacing 50,000 lbs. and beyond of material requires a great deal of effort! Most homeowners appreciate being able to utilize their driveway as quickly as possible, and they consider this a top priority.
“We lead the way as a well-oiled machine,” said Kalan. “In most cases, we show up early, work hard, remove and replace driveways within one day!” Most projects can be completed in one to two days. Their business philosophy focuses on three major points: customer satisfaction, quality workmanship and minimizing a homeowner’s downtime.
