Robert W. (Bob) Clark is an independent contractor specializing in life and health insurance. Bob has many interesting stories from over the years, and has been in the insurance business since 1966.
Growing up in Henryetta, OK, Bob is a graduate of Henryetta High School and played football when the team was known as the Henryetta Fighting Hens. He served a tour of duty in the U.S. Navy and then worked for ONG as a meter reader to put himself through college at Oklahoma City University. Following four years of college, he was employed by Mene Grande Oil Company of Venezuela, and later served in the employ of Chaco Petroleum Company of Bolivia for three years. He began his insurance sales career in Houston, but returned to Oklahoma in 1966 to become the sales director for an insurance company. He joined Messer-Bowers Insurance in 1978 and began specializing in group life and health insurance. He serves both business and individual segments in his business.
Messer-Bowers was established in Enid in 1926. They have served Oklahoma and the mid-continent energy region for over 80 years with offices in Enid, Oklahoma City and Stillwater. They have been known as the energy industry’s insurance source for over 40 years.
