Reese’s Medical Equipment is not just about selling products—they believe in restoring comfort and independence to their customers. Wade Freeman, the owner of Reese’s Medical Equipment in Tulsa, knows this all too well. With nearly 28 years of experience in medical equipment service and repair, Wade understands each customer is going through a difficult time, often losing some of their mobility or independence. That’s why he’s committed to providing transparent, personalized service—when you call or walk into his locally owned store, you’re talking directly to him, not a faceless employee. “You have to remember that everyone that comes in here isn’t at their best. They’re giving up something,” Wade says. “But we can give some of their comfort back.”
Wade has owned Reese’s Medical Equipment for six years, but before that, he ran the service department for the previous owner, gaining a wealth of experience in repairing and servicing all kinds of medical equipment. Today, that expertise continues to shine as he handles service calls, installations, and ensures customers always know exactly who they’re dealing with.
One of the most popular items at Reese’s Medical Equipment is the Pride Lift Chair line. These chairs are not only cost-effective but also offer infinite seating positions for maximum comfort. Wade also stocks Golden Cloud chairs, which offer high-end comfort with superior fabric and cushioning. Many of Wade’s customers are seniors or people recovering from surgeries, dealing with ailments like arthritis or general weakness.
“These chairs make a big difference for those who have trouble standing up or are concerned about a partner needing to help them,” Wade notes. He always keeps a dozen lift chairs in stock so customers can try before they buy, ensuring they find the perfect fit for their needs.

Mobility scooters are another specialty at Reese’s. Wade stocks up to 10 models, both three-wheel and four-wheel varieties. The Go-Go Carbon is a standout—lightweight and ideal for travel, it folds manually, reducing the chance of mechanical failure. Another popular option is the iGo, which splits into two pieces for easy transport.
“I push the three-wheel scooters because they’re more transport-friendly, and they have a better turning radius,” Wade explains. Scooters from his Pride line come with chargers and have a range between 9 to 15 miles, depending on the terrain.
For those needing power assistance, Wade offers the Golden Cricket power chair, known for its ultra-lightweight design and easy folding capability. This model allows users to drive with one hand via a joystick, making it ideal for tight spaces like assisted living facilities. Wade also keeps the Go-Go power chair in stock, which breaks into four pieces for easy handling.
Wade’s expertise extends to Bruno Stairlifts, a product he’s been selling and servicing for 28 years. Bruno is known for its superior quality, offering straight, curved, and outdoor rails. Each rail is custom-fitted to the customer’s staircase, and Wade takes pride in installing each stairlift.
“Bruno is considered the best,” Wade says, noting that he’s certified for sales, installations, and repairs. Whether it’s a short run or a custom stairway, Wade ensures each customer gets a solution tailored to their home.
At Reese’s, Wade is dedicated to offering a 1-year labor warranty on virtually everything he sells, meaning customers can count on him for repairs and maintenance without additional costs. “If they can bring it to me, I’ll work on it for free. It’s my urgent goal to help those who have bought from me and need service or repairs,” Wade says. “I’m hypersensitive to the amount of time people have, and I make it my top priority to get their equipment fixed quickly.”
His deep knowledge of the industry also allows him to guide customers through the sometimes-confusing buying process.
For those in need of durable medical equipment, Reese’s Medical Equipment provides not only products but peace of mind. Wade’s personal touch and years of expertise make all the difference in helping customers regain their comfort and independence.
