Oklahoma Reining Horse Association Ride & Slide
March 4-9, 2025
The Oklahoma Reining Horse Association Ride & Slide is an action-packed display of equestrian skills at Tulsa Expo Square. Watch cowboys and cowgirls of all ages and abilities compete in a variety of challenging events that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Riders will guide horses through precise patterns of circles, spins and sliding stops at speeds alternating between a slow lope and a fast gallop. Cheer for your favorites as green reiner, rookie, non-pro derby, youth, professional and novice riders take to the arena in this thrilling show. Hours: Tuesday-Thursday & Sunday: 7am; Friday & Saturday: 8am.

Grand Lake Boat & Sport Show
March 7-9, 2025
The Grand Lake Boat & Sport Show features the best of summer fun in Vinita. Visitors to this event at the Craig County Community Center will find a wide array of boat dealers, RV dealers and miscellaneous sport and fishing vendors. Families can begin making plans for the summer season such as which marinas to visit, shopping for that new summer toy, and finding the best fishing spots. The Grand Lake Boat and Sport Show not only offers boats but also boating accessories, electronics, dock services and much more. Experts will be on hand to discuss safety, repair, maintenance and other boat-related topics. Don’t miss this spring event that will help you get your summer plans underway. Oklahoma Pinto Horse Association Spring Color Classic
March 21-23, 2025 | 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
The Oklahoma Pinto Horse Association held its first horse show in 1959. From the beginning, the purpose has been to promote and encourage the general interest and breeding of pinto horses, and to promote good sportsmanship and fellowship among the owners and lovers of pinto horses. OPtHA is an affiliate charter club of the national organization - the Pinto Horse Association of America, Inc. The Pinto Horse Association of America, Inc. was established in 1956 as primarily a color registry. Today the association has grown to offer four conformation types - Stock, Hunter, Pleasure, and Saddle. There is also a separate division for ponies and one for miniature horses. Two color patterns are recognized - Tobiano and Overo, as well as a Solid Bred division for animals who do not have enough white to meet color registry requirements. A mule and donkey division were added in 2018. OPtHA offers all-breed classes at each show. Walk/Trot challenge classes are offered for all ages as well as a leadline class for young children. Members hold charity fund raisers at designated shows.

Green Country Arabian Horse Association Spring Fling

Watch as Arabian, half-Arabian and all-breed horses compete in various disciplines such as halter, English pleasure, hunter pleasure, and western pleasure as well as exciting ranch events like cow work, reining, herd work and many others. Dog Iron Cluster Dog Show
March 28-30, 2025 | 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Head to the Claremore Expo Center and watch local and regional dogs showcase the finest qualities of their breed at the Claremore Dog Iron Cluster Dog Show. With over 100 AKC Registered breeds represented and competing, there’s a category for every dog lover. Whether it’s terrier, toy, non-sporting, herding, working, hound or sporting, watch as different breeds compete for the top spot in their individual category, then cheer on your favorite as they strut their stuff, vying for the coveted Best in Show title. Vendors specializing in pet and show supply merchandise will be on hand at the show.

T-Town Half Marathon
March 29, 2025 | 7:30 a.m.
This March, save the date for the 5th annual T-Town Half Marathon. This springtime half marathon plus 5K starts and finishes in downtown Tulsa. The half marathon includes several miles along the banks of the beautiful Arkansas River. The 5K is contested on downtown Tulsa streets, while the half marathon will be a mix of downtown streets and paved River Parks Trail. All entrants will receive a tech shirt as well as a great finisher medal and post-race refreshments.

2025 Coweta Classic Car Show
March 29, 2025 | 8 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
The Coweta Classic Car Show is coming to Coweta this spring in conjunction with the Wagoner County Emergency Preparedness Expo! This event will showcase cars, trucks, jeeps, and motorcycles. There will be music, door prizes and a 50/50 drawing. Trophies will be awarded to the Top 20 entries, and there will be Best of Show, Chamber Choice, and Emergency Management Choice honors as well. Check out all the entries then head over to the Expo at the Intermediate High School where we will have dozens of vendors, live demonstrations, food trucks, a community Easter egg hunt and an OBI blood drive benefitting Wagoner County schools.
