Florigami in the Garden

May 1-31, 2025

See the larger-than-life FLORIGAMI IN THE GARDEN exhibit at the Tulsa Botanic Garden. These monumental sculptures created by Santa Fe artists Jennifer and Kevin Box showcase 20 installations of metal sculptures inspired by origami, the centuries-old Japanese art of folding paper. These works of art take on the shapes of nature, including flowers, birds, grazing deer, galloping ponies, and more. The Oklahoma debut will also feature a 17-foot-tall kinetic sculpture of butterflies that will "float" above floral displays. Head to the Tulsa Botanic Garden between March 2 to September 21 to see this impressive and whimsical display for yourself. Hours: Tuesday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm; Wednesday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm; Thursday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm; Friday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm; Saturday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm; Sunday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. 7th Annual Backyard Passalong Plant Sale

May 9-10, 2025

*Plants are just $1!* Come support my young entrepreneur. No one stops for lemonade, so my boy, Gordon, has a plant sale every year instead. Gordon's had a great time getting to meet new and repeat customers over the past six years. Stop by for some great deals to add to your yard since ours is running out of space! Quantities are limited, but count on a good selection: Natives, Herbs, Groundcover, and lots of pollinator-friendly Perennials. Our yard is untreated, so let's get fancy and call Gordon a hyperlocal organic grower. Hours: Friday, 1:00p.m. – 4:00p.m., Saturday, 9:00a.m. – 12:00p.m.
