In keeping with their philosophy of “making old things new again,” co-owners and best friends Kelly Corey and Marti Coleman create custom jewelry pieces from items that customers bring in, or choose from the thousands of vintage beads in all colors, shapes and sizes, as well as buttons, charms, pendants and brooches. Kelly and Marti can take those items and rework them into stunning one-of-a-kind necklaces, bracelets, earrings or belt buckles. The possibilities for new jewelry designs are endless.

A lot of customers go through grandma’s jewelry box and find her favorite clip-on earrings, large brooch or other pieces they would never wear. But once reworked, they remain sentimental but are exclusively updated and enjoyed again. Other jewelry offerings include collegiate custom charms, high school spirit necklaces and personalized stamping on a variety of disks.

Twisted Soul Sisters features more than 30 lines of specialty clothing in a cozy and friendly boutique atmosphere, with a mix of new and vintage throughout the store. With only one run per style, you won’t see these clothes in the malls and on everyone else. The clothes are always trendy, and it is not unusual to find three generations of ladies shopping together. Teens, moms and grandmas find just the right look and fit for them, no matter what size. Three new plus-size lines offer clothing to size 22 and tops to 4X.

This season, Twisted Soul Sisters has added seven new jeans styles in their core denim line, Dear John. “This is denim that really keeps its shape,” says Kelly, “and we have dressy holiday styles at reasonable price points.” Ladies who say they have never been able to find a pair of jeans that fit are amazed to discover the perfect pair of jeans. And they don’t have to spend a lot of money.

A pair of head-turning boots complements any jeans or many other outfits. Twisted Soul Sisters carries a large selection of Old Gringo, Corral and Liberty Black boots. Not sure about size or color? Pick up a gift certificate.

The Mud Pies home and gift line includes many great ideas for hostess gifts or stocking stuffers. Prices start at just $8.
