Mullin Plumbing has been serving Oklahomans for 40 years with offices in Broken Arrow and Oklahoma City. Although Mullin Plumbing president and owner Markwayne Mullin is now Congressman-elect Mullin is now serving on the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure and the House Committee on Natural Resources, rest assured that Mullin Plumbing is moving full speed ahead.
Markwayne’s father started Mullin Sewer Service in 1973. The company changed its name to Mullin Plumbing & Drain Service in the 1980s. Markwayne became owner of the company in 1997 at the age of 20 and put the first Mullin Plumbing red truck into service shortly thereafter. In 1998, “The Red Rooter” tag was adopted and the company is today the largest business of its type in the state of Oklahoma. Whenever you encounter one of the Mullin fleet trucks, you immediately know it is “The Red Rooter.”
Mullin Inc., the parent company, has expanded over the years into a multiple-division company. Home and commercial service and drain and sewer service divisions provide hot water heaters, sinks, faucets, toilets, bathtubs, sprinkler systems, septic installations and shower pans, as well as bathroom and kitchen remodels, re-pipes, hydro-jet service, electronic leak locators, video inspections, garbage disposals, gas lines and slab leaks. They also provide services for French drains, reroutes, replacements, washer lines, kitchen lines, lateral lines, floor drains, toilets and new line installations.
If anyone has a concern about Mullin Plumbing being neglected while Markwayne is serving his country in Washington D.C., rest assured you remain in very qualified hands. From the beginning, Markwayne was intent on establishing a strong leadership team. “I have personally hired most of Mullin’s employees, and we all believe in the vision and purpose of our company,” said Markwayne. “We’ve been blessed with consistent growth over the years, and as we add new personnel, I will continue to view each employee in the organization as another strong link in the Mullin chain.”
Markwayne Mullin is “the real deal.” He is a genuine, caring man and has great values. He sees his position as one of taking care of other’s problems, whether they are customers or employees. “That’s my role in our organization,” he said. Markwayne says that each member of the leadership team has assisted him in developing the mindset of the Mullin organization. “I have always had great expectations of myself and Mullin employees,” he said. “We tell our employees up front what we and what they should expect when employed here. We pull people up and develop our employees, and this is the group vision of our leadership team.”
Markwayne has committed to staying plugged in to Mullin Plumbing even though he’s going to be in Washington for a while. “Mullin Plumbing is my livelihood and my passion,” he says.
