Is your list of errands sending you all around town? Perhaps your to-dos include picking up a birthday cake, ordering thank-you flowers, cashing a check, buying a new outfit for dinner with the in-laws, exchanging a video game for your son, and getting your hair and nails done. Wouldn’t it be convenient if you could take care of everything in one place? At Ne-Mar Shopping Center you can, with 32 shops, restaurants and service providers to make your on-the-go life easier.

Stopping in at Floral Creations will be a welcome refuge from errand running. The shop is an oasis of fresh floral designs, home dècor, and novelty gift items. The staff greets customers with a smile and helping hand and includes shop owner and Oklahoma Master Florist Dawn McClain, Oklahoma Master Florist Sharon Yates, sales personnel extraordinaire Debbie Kara, and marketing coordinator Rachel Crabtree.

The designers create stunning fresh flower arrangements for every occasion– sympathy, appreciation, wedding, birthday and anniversary– with worldwide delivery available.

The store carries an extensive selection of home décor items: the Faith Collection, Carson Artstone Angels, WoodWick candles and diffusers, Montag candles, mirrors, candlesticks, quality silk flowers and trees, prints, clocks, crystal, glassware and much more.

Dawn McClain, owner of Floral Creations, provides gorgeous floral arrangements and home décor needs at her store in the Ne-Mar Shopping Center.

Customer service is fundamental at Floral Creations. “We speak personally with each of our customers,” said Sharon. “We thoroughly discuss exactly what they need.”

Floral Creations hopes to inspire simplicity and beauty through the artistic expression of floral design, whatever the occasion. Floral Creations is very excited to announce and invite everyone to its Fifth Year Birthday Celebration Sale, to be held on Saturday, August 2. The store is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call (918) 283-1100.

A few steps from Floral Creations is Stage, offering a vast selection of clothing, accessories, handbags, shoes, cologne and perfume, and home and gift items. Kerry Quigley, store manager for the past five years, says that Stage stands apart from other department stores because of its level of customer service. “Our associates are the best around. Ronda, Tereasa, Shelly, Donna, Tiffany, Andrea, Michelle and Melissa are extremely accommodating and always smiling,” she said.

Stage offers clothing sizes for everyone in the family – women, men, juniors, boys, girls and babies. Top brands such as Chaps, Calvin Klein, Company 81, Rafaella, Levi’s, Southpole, U.S. Polo and Dockers are on hand. A great selection of OU and OSU apparel for Sooner and Cowboy fans is also available. Stage’s shoe collection includes Nike, Adidas, New Balance and more.

The atmosphere is spacious, bright and airy, making Stage a convenient and pleasant place to shop. The first Tuesday of each month is Club 50 Day, when shoppers 50 and over receive a discount. Stage also holds a one-day sale once each month. Store hours are Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, call (918) 341-3248.

You can really work up an appetite running errands all day, and Goldie’s Patio Grill, known for its specially seasoned charbroiled burgers, delicious pickle bar and friendly service, is an excellent option for lunch or dinner. The extensive menu includes a variety of burgers, appetizers, dinners, salads, soups, sandwiches, kids’ meals and desserts. Goldie’s even offers light options for health-conscious eaters.

Recently the restaurant was renovated and repainted, and employees are hoping to decorate with local school spirit items. “We are asking for school memorabilia donations from Claremore, Sequoyah, Verdigris, and RSU,” said assistant manager Jenn Austin, who has worked with the company for five years. “We really want to show our team spirit and how much we support our schools.” To donate memorabilia, simply bring items to the restaurant, or call Goldie’s at (918) 342-3744 and ask for Jenn.

Goldie’s in Ne-Mar is open Sunday through Thursday 10:45 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:45 a.m. to 9 p.m.
