Back by popular demand, one of Lyric Theatre's biggest hits of all-time returns with a new rendition of Richard O'Brien's "The Rocky Horror Show" this October. This cult classic will entertain audiences with catchy songs and interesting characters that you won't soon forget. It is loosely inspired by the 1987 movie, The Lost Boys by Janice Fischer and James Jeremias and the 1992 movie, Unforgiven by David Webb Peoples. Jack and his new friends (and of course one big Ogre…) return for another season of fantastical fun on stage! The Hardesty Family Foundation Children’s Series brings this adorable tale of friendship and loyalty to the Tulsa and surrounding communities. Join us as we follow Jack up the giant beanstalk to world of castles in the sky, magical treasures, and one despicable Ogre. With choreography by Ma Cong, sets and costumes by Tracy Grant Lord, and incredible dancing by Tulsa Ballet II, Jack and the Beanstalk encourages audiences to expand their imagination. A musical score assembled by Principal Company Pianist Andrew Lahti and narration by Dan McGeehan, who also adapted the story, help create an entertaining and educational performance for all ages.

The Brush Creek Bazaar is an annual Tulsa event that boasts fun for everyone in the scenic Brush Creek area. Over a two-day period, enjoy shopping, entertainment and carnival activities in a family environment. The outdoor festival features exhibits from wood and metal craftsmen as well as vendor booths with everything from decor and soap to candles and clothing. Shop row after row of craft supplies and locally-made art from unique and exceptional artists while your children play in the kid zone. Complete with pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting and a swan pond, your children will never want to leave. Take a break from shopping to enjoy some quality time with the family over some live music and fair food. The annual event has been hosted in Tulsa since the 1980s and has been featuring top-notch live entertainment throughout that time.

Visit the Autumn Leaves Quilt Show in Claremore to browse beautiful quilts made from local quilters. This fun and educational two-day event will also include a small quilt auction and apron auction. This show puts from 160 to 190 quilts on display and features a selection of quilt-related vendors. See free demonstrations and an old fashion bed turnings and enjoy meeting other quilters. The quilt show in Claremore will also include a craft room, prize baskets and on-site concession stand.
