The Halloween Festival at the Castle of Muskogee The Halloween Festival at the Castle of Muskogee will be open each Friday & Saturday during October 2023. Gates will be open from 5:30pm until 10pm. Outdoor Haunts begin at dark & indoor haunts open after the Monster Dance at 6pm. Ticket sales will end at 10pm. The haunts will stay open after 10pm in order to allow onsite ticket holders to use their remaining haunt tickets.
Create new family memories with a trip to the Country Bumpkin Pumpkin Patch in Bartlesville each fall. Open seasonally from late September through the end of October, the Country Bumpkin is more than just a pumpkin patch. Come on down to Pumpkin Town Farms in Tulsa for an array of family-friendly fall activities. At this family-owned pumpkin patch and five-acre maze, you'll find various sizes of pumpkins, gourds and squash as well as hay and cornstalks. Families will have a blast at Pumpkin Town Farms, where they can enjoy a corn maze, giant slide rides, two trains, a giant jumping pillow, petting zoo, treasure dig, tire swing carousel, tiny town, pumpkin bowling, pumpkin checkers, face painting, and so much more. Pumpkin Town Farms also offers pony and camel rides, a pumpkin blaster, critter paintball and a horse-drawn hayride (Friday-Sunday only).

Usher in the fall season with a family-friendly trip to The Patch in Glenpool. Open each October in Glenpool, The Patch offers fun for all ages, including adults. From hamster wheel and trike races to thrills on the mountain and mini slides, there's something for everyone in the family. Kittle ones can play safely in the Toddler Zone, while older visitors may enjoy the jumbo jumping pad, play a game of mega chess, compete in the water duck races and more. Pumpkin Festival at Shepherd’s Cross & Heart of the Shepherd September 26 – November 4, 2023 Tuesday – Saturday 9:00 am - 6:30 pm Open Monday, October 30th Join Shepherd’s Cross and Heart of the Shepherd for their annual Pumpkin Festival. Enjoy a peaceful day in the country at an authentic working sheep farm, located just north of Claremore off Route 66. Filled with family-friendly activities with no scares. Loads of pumpkins in all shapes, sizes, and colors for purchase, starting at $1.50 each. Admission and parking are free. The only pay-for activity is the Wagon Ride. Enjoy a tractor-pulled wagon ride on a ramp-loading trailer through the hay meadow. Wagon ride tickets are available for $6.50 per person; 2 and under are free. Wagon rides are every 30 minutes. There are over 60 free activities to enjoy on the farm. Explore the walk-through Pumpkin Patch with Hay Maze and Game Area. Pet sheep, goats, horses, donkeys, and alpacas in the Farm Animal Barn petting area. Walk the Bible Garden and see pumpkins growing on the vine surrounded by sunflowers and fall flowers. All new this year is our QR Code Scavenger Hunt. Look around the farm for QR codes to scan and watch short videos about farming and shepherding. Pumpkin Packages are available to purchase, which include a pumpkin (size of pumpkin varies with type of package), wagon ride, and a take-home craft or bring some old clothes to make your own scarecrow. Inside the Amish-built barn browse the gift shop with handmade décor, gifts, and wares from 60 local consignors as well as local honey, meat, and eggs; explore the Farm Museum and Silo with the all new animated Percy the Perfect Pumpkin story time, and watch fiber demonstrations in the Wool Mill. There are modern indoor restrooms. Shepherd’s Cross is an accredited Agritourism facility, a Made in Oklahoma Company, and a Grass-Fed, Grass-Finished Animal Welfare Approved farm. Heart of the Shepherd is the non-profit organization (501-C3) that operates at the farm. Heart of the Shepherd teaches Biblical references to the harvest, the animals, farming, and gardening. Because of their generosity, admission to Pumpkin Festival is free and operates by donations. Suggested donation is $5 per person; suggested, not required. All donations benefit Heart of the Shepherd’s international and local mission outreach programs.

The Guthrie Ghost Walk will take you through part of the nation's largest historic district, focusing on Downtown Guthrie. Pleasant Valley Farms Pumpkin Patch in Sand Springs grows one of the largest variety of pumpkins and winter squash in Oklahoma. With over 90 varieties from 13 countries, the farm also provides information on each variety's use, including baking, pies, jams or decoration. Nearly two dozen vendors and craftsmen will be on-site with an array of items to purchase at the festival. Browse through handmade soaps, tasty jellies and much more, or pick a traditional orange pumpkin to take home. Craftsmen will also demonstrate their skills for crowds, including chainsaw wood carving. Buy a ticket to ride the horse-drawn wagon ride, pet barnyard animals at the petting barn, try the "punkin' chunkin'" cannon and grab a bite to eat at the concession stand. Visitors can snap fall-themed photos or shop in the gift shop. Navigate the 15-acre corn maze, play a round of mini golf or try your luck at pumpkin bowling. Celebrate the holidays at Dickens on the Boulevard, a Victorian-themed festival in historic downtown Claremore. During this two-day November event, visitors will enjoy live stage entertainment, food, pictures with Santa and much more. A Victorian street dance will be hosted both nights, as well as historic reenactments with plenty of Western-themed action. Stop by living history window displays peppering the downtown area and learn about life in the Victorian era while reenactors portray blacksmiths, spinners, wood carvers and potters. Browse festive shops and decorated boutiques or enjoy a Christmas-themed wagon ride throughout town. Be sure to see the living nativity, participate in the costume contest and enjoy the Victorian food court with items like stew, beans, cornbread and cobbler.

Take a spooky stroll you won't soon forget on the Turkey Mountain Haunted Trails. Enter the ¾-mile-long trail full of twisted cedar, cobwebs, creepy-crawly bugs and gnarled oaks. Guests will experience the trails of this dark walk-through attraction filled with terrifying live actors, fun special effects and ghastly scenes that fully immerse customers into the spooky side of Turkey Mountain. Follow trail guides in small groups through 10-12 scare stations that focus on creating an extremely eerie and spooky atmosphere rather than the gruesome scenes of other haunted houses. Each tour is approximately 30 spine-chilling minutes and begins at Turkey Mountain’s main parking lot. This experience is not recommended for children under 12, the faint of heart or those with mobility issues. In addition to the Haunted Trails, this year's event will include a non-spooky fall festival for younger participants. The festival will include a petting zoo, bounce houses, carnival games and other family-friendly activities. Whether you prefer shocks and scares or fall carnival fun, there is something for everyone at Turkey Mountain this October.

This fun event in Claremore combines trick-or-treating with an opportunity for children and their families to visit the museum.
